I believe if a girl can do a job just as good as a man then she should get the job I believe the only reason to pay someone a higher wage is if they do a better job and increase production or have more responsibilities regardless of man or woman and I believe that if this person can do something then if I put my mind and time into it then do can I and everyone should have that mindset but I’ve raised daughters and I wouldn’t want to be in the middle of combat and have a woman or a few women in my platoon because I’d be likely to lose focus on my part trying to make sure the women were safe now don’t freak out yet because I’m just saying I have a tendency to try and protect those that may need it even if it’s just in my head that they need protection also I read a story about a band of women somewhere in Iran or somewhere like that that were bad ass and started their own campaign against these enemy soldiers that were doing horrible things to women to the point the enemy military was afraid of them possibly mostly because of the disgrace of getting their asses kicked by women so I guess it’s something I would get use to but still not for my daughters to much rape and shit by our own military against our own women but I’d say I’m definitely for equal rights to all
Oh boy. I only support the first wave, because there was actually a lot of good change that took place like voting rights, more work opportunities and better education. The second wave was about abortion rights and sexual liberation. That I don't agree with. Then the third wave is an all-out attack on masculinity, which is a complete shit show. Terms like "mansplaining" and "manspreading" as well as "toxic masculinity" started popping out of nowhere, and before you know it now we have 72 genders. I mean, really? And then the patriarchy is this and that. Stop. Patriarchy is what built this society. Have we been cruel at times? Yes, there's no denying that. However, a lot of changes have been implemented. A lot of results have been achieved. If society was a matriarchy, there would be absolute chaos. I'm Black. Look at the Black community right now. I love my people, but there's no denying that shit is out of control. 77% out-of-wedlock, that's 3 quarters of households being single mother households. How many Black men have kids? 45%, 32% of which are married. Do the math. That leaves us with 13% getting women pregnant with no commitment, because 55% are single and childless. You want to tell me that 13% can get 77% pregnant? C'mon. Sexual liberation is the devil. I used the community as an example of what matriarchy looks like. You DO NOT want matriarchy and baby mommas, trust me on this one. Feminism celebrates single mothers and pushes fathers out of the home, and the result is dangerous. I would love to see my community do better in that regard, but this serves as a cautionary tale to anyone from the outside looking in. Male leadership is important, fathers are important and women should let their husbands be the leaders and take on the supportive role. Any other way would result in single motherhood.

I won't support a movement which has so much hate for the opposite sex in it.. A movement that threatens to kill women when they post about liking to cook for their family.. Nor will I support a group that believes that the population of men should be reduced to less than 10%, by selective abortion and castration. Nor will I support a group or movement that calls all sex between a man and a woman rape..
Nor will I support a group or movement which does everything in their power to erase fathers, and treats fathers like second class citizens when divorce happens... Nor will I support a group or organization (the national organization for women, the largest feminist organization on the planet) that refuses to acknowledge male rape victims, male domestic abuse survivors, and a myriad of other things. Fuck feminism and it's cancerous members.

It depends on what you call feminism. You eluded to something very important... which wave are we taking about? Well, which wave of feminism do we see today?
First and second waves have been gone for a long time because they achieved their goals and moved on. Feminism has reinvented itself many times, and what we see today is VERY different from what feminism was years ago, and was intended to be by it's founders. If the original feminists could come alive today and see what feminism has become, I have no doubt they would be disgusted, as we all should be.
I support equality and fairness. Do I support feminism? No, because quality and fairness are NOT what today's feminisms is about. Anyone who supports equality and fairness cannot in good conscience support today's feminism. Feminism is as feminism does, and what feminism has been doing in recent years is disgusting.
I support actual feminism, none of this wave or misandrist bullshit. I just want total equality, good and bad, for men and women. Equal pay, Equal punishment, equal protections under the law, Equal opportunities etc.
I have no doubt that some woman out there can beat me to the ground, knock me senseless, outsmart me at everything, get a better job, be more responsible, make better decisions, etc. But where's the charm and humor? Arnold Schwarzenneger has more charm, humor, charisma, than your average feminist, and that's an especially low standard. Feminists are fucking boring. They have never made me laugh. Feminists are gross. They manage to turn something erotic into something gross. Feminists are dorks.

Having no idea what is meant with first and third wave, feminism is in any case a necessity for women to get plain equal social and professional rights. A very actual necessity. Now, however justified a struggle may be, there will always be idiotic extremists, but considering women's situations in most countries on this planet, I am, as man, a feminist.
I support equal opportunity for men and women. I don't believe in equality since men and women have biologically different strengths and weaknesses. Nor do I support some so-called feminists who are pushing superiority and making reparations for past situations.

I'm an egalitarian and do not support, feminism, OK let me rephrase, I do not support modern feminism, I support old school feminism, but it's no longer needed in most western countries such as US and Canada. In my opinion, modern feminism is pure cancer to society, how are men and women supposed to be equal when all's modern feminism does is bring down men while trying to make women superior to them.
It has been a hate movement since the beginning. They claim that since the beginning of time men were oppressing women, which makes no sense in terms of a survival standpoint. Not to mention they also claim that men, even now, don't care about women while relying on men's support of women, which they claim doesn't exist, to keep itself going.
It did nothing but worsen the relationship between men and women for no reason.
1st wave yes. 3rd wave certainly not.
3rd wave isn't about equality, it's supremacism and misandry. It's basically blaming men for everything, existing or made up, and asking equality or better treatment only where it suits women. It's a man hating machine lead by people with an insane god complex.
I do not support it. Because all the men and women who defence feminism today continue to agitate by using too much feminism. Even here, everyone is asking thousands of questions about feminism every day, pitting those who support feminism against those who don't.
I think it's a net negative to society and I can't think of a single thing that it's truly benefited men and women alike to any meaningless degree.

It’s difficult to argue against equality of opportunity, but superiority of one over the other is misandry or misogyny.

I’m a second wave feminist though sometimes I can agree with some elements of third and fourth wave but so much was already accomplished with the first two waves.
I hear this word all the time and I still have no idea what it means or why people hate it, a woman who wants respect is a feminist but a man who wants respect isn’t?
I think many parts are reasonable because I support women in having the same rights and chances but I feel western society is becoming more female led. It bothers me that there is no Male equivalent.
