If it’s infantry at the front, they have about 6-8 hours to get information. Rape is often used, They have done this in Georgia and Chechnya It is nothing new with the Russians.

I have sat through enough conduct after capture course etc and read or seen results of most countries treatment of prisoners, it is not a really great option being captured
They are not dying over dirt. You see you need to stop watching American media. Read the Kyivpost. Or watch some Ukrainian television. You could even try to find news from Georgia or Latvia.
They are dying over their culture. Being in America, the nuthouse that is obsessed with "race", you don't understand what that means.
But to a Ukrainian, it is literally everything. They have their own history, culture, and language. And Putin will erase it all and force them back into the Russian fold.

I am sending money to my friend tomorrow. And I have another family split between Kiev and Dnipro while a third can't leave because their second oldest son is fighting age.
So I am not just opining about this as some theoretical exercise. This is my life.
Alright now we are talking. I commend you then for it and i would say you are one of the heroes of this unjust war. But i stand firm in my belief that no soldier should be called a hero for taking a life either an enemy or their own. They should only be called heroes if they save a life not take. There is a distinct difference between those two realities, whether you acknowledge that or not.
It seams unlikely. First of all there is a video claiming to show the warship firing on them. Secondly the Ukrainian side of the story claims a handful of people on the island which makes sense for a point of little strategic importance while the Russian side who claims they are alive said there was like 86 of them and that they somehow magically surrendered after literally telling the warship to go fuck itself.
Don't know media reports randomly as well from outside especially some stupid thought. don't want to stimulate both no matter happy or sad. we had these examples. the fund work to an famous university till now. because of it I am thinking some reason in it. but now I would be like them I am sure especially. I would be like German preachers rushed through Catherine II staying behind her to live for my reason.
We know that the Russians lied both about the number of people on the island and about shooting at them. I kind of doubt that the rest actually happens to be true with all other lies they have told.
