Does anyone think Nato should put a full blockade on Russia?

It's pretty obvious Russia can't beat Nato forces if they can't even beat Ukrainians. We should take steps on the high seas to contain Russia's cargo vessels and oil tankers and prevent them from trading with China and others. I'm for starving the entire Russian chain of command out of powers. What do you think?

General Kellogg just said U. S. airpower could have mopped the floor with hte russian tank battalions instantly, because of the IFR strategy Russia is currently using.

The tank battalion is going to get destroyed anyway, it's just a matter of when and how many casualties boht sides are willing to take before russia retreats. The javelin missiles are "enough" but it's a lot more risky to engage tanks and infantry with rocket infantry than it is with drones and stealth bombers.

Putin hasn't been sending in about 50% of the potential troops he had at the border. Now there are Belarusian troops added and there are more troops coming in.
Never forget Russia has the second best equipped army in the world.
Many armies in Europe aren't that well equipped. They are mostly depending on US forces.

I was lead to believe russia was approximately equal to U. S. in tech, when they clearly are not. They don't have our guidance systems and stealth, a nd they don't even have night vision goggles.

also it’s not Nato, it would be the EU and similar around the world.

If you interdict civilian ships in international waters, it’s a declaration of war (almost).

I really would like to see airstrikes against that Tank Battalion closing in on Kyiv. I can't imagine that the United States is just going to sit by and let 300 tanks and armored vehicles encircle a European nation's capital and start shelling them, and do nothing about it.

Yes they have oil, however a lot of specialist kit is from outside of Russia.

The International Brigade will also get more and more members, the UK has cleared Brits to fight with it and other countries will likely follow suit

Russia just polarized the Ukraine that much more I think. These people are prepared to fight to the death.

I think russia asking for talks is just a ploy to get equipment and peeps within striking distance. All the causalities of russian soldiers was part of putin plan to make the world think what a horrible training and equipment they have when infact the second wave to come was the real invasion... just my opinion.
