Sports is another issue, men and women are different, so this is why a trans women shouldn’t be competing against other women, men are naturally better at sports, men are naturally taller faster and stronger then women physically so trans women because they are biologically men shouldn’t be competing against women. I'm asking this person what rights a trans person does not have. She supports "trans rights" as if they do not have rights and people need to join the "cause" so that they GET THEIR DEPRIVED RIGHTS. The topic is "FREEDOM". What rights and freedoms do trans not have? The premise is that they are deprived of some right that they do not get... as if this is some new civil rights issue people must "fight" for.
Well, I am for transgender rights, but there is the biological reality that a transgendered person is not exactly the gender/sex that they identify as. This can be problematic in sports and cis-gendered female athletes have legitimate concerns about this.
Ideally, then, trans-males and trans-females would have their own sports like there are boys and girls sports now, but that's not really feasible because of trans-persons being a small part of the population that it's not feasible for sports consisting solely of transgender athletes.
If they're adults they can do whatever they want and I really couldn't care less.
But why won't they respect everyone else's right to not have it constantly shoved in their face and not having to participate in it by pressuring us to change our language?
Or children's right to a childhood free from a sexual ideology promoting self harm?
Or women's right to fair sportsmanship and safety in women only spaces?
I'd always but into the life of anyone who abuses their child. So you say if a parent was beating or raping their child I should let them do it because THEY are adults? No and it's the same with parents exposing their children to a sexual ideology and telling them they're transgender.
Cis people can (typically) go by the pronouns they prefer, be legally and socially acknowledged as the gender they identify as, get themselves and their children medical treatment for problems specific to sex or puberty—often covered by insurance, and get themselves elective surgeries specific to sexual attributes—sometimes covered by insurance. Without any serious additional hurdles, questions, challenges, or complaints from others.
Not all of those are pure freedoms, yeah, but they are all pretty basic considering almost all cis people already have them, and it would would be nice for everyone to have them don't you think? What would it hurt?

I am all for their safety and right to live freely, but no butchery of the English language. They means more than one person. “Normal” is a clearly defined noun.

One commenter said it all. He said "no one is against their freedom, we are against their control" Perhaps what he really means is: I am afraid of losing the full control I currently have. Morality will always wins my friend. Might not be today but eventually it always does.

I support Freedom of speech and expression... which includes the freedom to express my views on the abnormal aberration of Transvestism and Homosexuality.
There are only two sexes - male and female. Listen to science. You don't believe in God, religion and traditional values, but at least listen to science.
In particular, listen to the science of biology. What gender a person is is a matter of biology, not "feelings". I don't want my daughter to go to the bathroom or a locker room with a man who feels like a woman.
