If pro life people care so much about children why do they let so many kids suffer in foster care?

Should be pro birth really because once the baby is born they couldn’t care less what happens to it or the mother. They are full of crap.

We do care. That's why some of us take in foster care kids. But we have no control over bad decisions child services make not vetting foster parents good enough.

Personally I care more about the irresponsible sex people have knowing it's how babies are made. If men and women would use birth control and use it correctly, there's a 99% chance the woman isn't going to get pregnant. Therefore she doesn't have a baby to abort. And if they can get to the clinic to get an abortion, they can get there to get free birth control. How hard is that? Apoarently that's too much to ask.

And then if for some reason a pill is missed or a condom breaks there's plan B available at any pharmacy. There's no excuses. If there's any excuse at all, it would only be for woman who were raped. But even they can use plan B and they only account for 1% of abortions. And only 0.5% are because of incest. The other 98.5% of abortions are because are irresponsible and selfish. Because they know if they get pregnant, they can have a doc dismember it and suck it out of them. And no regard for the pain the fetus feels dying that way. How would you like to have someone rip off your arms, legs, and or head?

So you can say pro-life people are full of shit. At least I'm not condoning irresponsible sex and a torturous death of an innocent life. I'd much rather someone assume I don't care what happens to them if they are born. by the way, abuse happens to kids other than ones in foster care. Child abuse is a whole different problem that many try to stop when they become aware of it.

Also there are pro life clinics that will help the mother when they don't abort. So full of shit I think not.

Even though I am 100% pro choice all the way, the statement you're making is woefully flawed for several reasons.

1. Not all biological parents or adopted parents provide loving and stable homes for children, hence, there IS a foster care system as a result of that.
2. Just because one is pro-life doesn't mean they don't care about children once they are born, but they cannot, nor can anybody, prevent all harm coming to all kids, or make people adopt children. Not everyone who is pro-life can afford to or has the time to be a parent and adopt or foster.
3. There is a lot wrong with foster care, but there is also a lot right with it, in that there are so many people, including a neighbor of mine, who provide loving stable environments for kids in transition.

I think if a pro-lifer is actively going after and trying to cancel and vote against programs that assist new mothers or focus on things like condom distribution, then, okay, I would see more to your point, but even if you disagree with a lot of what they do and say, which I do, we can't be so trigger happy on the "everyone is bad" train because they disagree with you.

What children go through in foster care really doesn't change anything. The prospect of *living* trumps any death or suffering. However bad their life may be is irrelevant, because in the end, they would rather live than die... and that's the point.

You can abort a baby with serious deformities, and people will pat themselves on the back thinking they saved the child a life of absolute misery. But did they really? Because at the same time, had that deformed child been born, grown up, experienced life no matter how bad it may have been for them... they might still somehow find value in living.

Is this not fair?

I know the question is geared toward aborted children suffering from having a messed up life. They need to simplify the American adoption system. But they are busy finding over 2 million illegals homes, food, shelter, clothes, free medical care and everything thing else they are entitled to get from USA 🇺🇸. Now we have over 100 thousand refugees from Ukraine. The babies/children that need assistance with living fall by the way side. I remember Americans adopted children from China because they were easy to adopt. Now times have changed between USA and China. Any way we look at it, the American children are suffering and America is helping the illegals instead of them. It's very very sad, and not right. They didn't ask to be born.

There is a long waiting list of 2 to 3 years to adopt newborns, the pro-life crowd is clearly adoption them out as fast as they can.

Often times though, children in foster care are there temporarily, and foster parents can't adopt them until the legal system terminates parental rights.

People don't want to adopt older problematic children that came from problem homes, they want the newborns.

I for one don't want them to adopt older children if they don't think they can handle them, it would only be worse on the child if things don't work out.

I’m raising three children that aren’t mine right now. Their parents are addicts and mother died for overdose. Many do help children that aren’t theirs. The ones that don’t have different reasons to not do it. There was a time that I could barely feed myself much less another child. Also, it’s not like bringing that up that you adopted a child would matter anyways because most pro choice people don’t think that you should have to give birth to a baby if you don’t want to for the baby to even be put up for adoption.

Due to my experiences in the Foster Care system, I'm someone that is pro-life. I look back fondly on my time in the Foster Care system. Those two individuals who took my brother and I in and treated us as their own did a wonderful job. Just because there are a few bad apples doesn't mean the entire system is messed up. There are awful people in all parts of society. Bad cops, bad teachers, bad nurses, bad doctors, and so on.

However, to point out what is happening, many people are not in the situation where they can confidently offer a safe and productive home to a child (you’re quick to call out, do you foster?) There are thousands of people that want to adopt but give up because the process is so expensive and extensive. There is a couple I know that tried adopting since 2018 but were denied at the end because they were not vaccinated 😡.
