If you want to be a traditional man then you're going to have control of your emotions and you're not going to be led & controlled by women. It happens that the more emotional you are the easier it is for someone to manipulate you. Of course these women who can't even get a high quality man want somebody to manipulate.
Will Smith is mentally weak & easy to manipulate. He bought into all the stuff feminists say about how men should be more emotional. He's confused and unhappy tho. Funny how the vast majority of traditional type guys are content & upbeat while the typical guy who buys into all this modern stuff is unhappy just like the women pushing it are.
The kind of women who say men need to protect women only have to say that because they're not actually worth protecting so they have to remind somebody & try to get what they're not actually due. Did traditional women ever have to tell traditional men that back in the day? Nope. Times have changed in ways these feminists said they wanted but now they don't like the outcome. And the reason why I will protect my wife is because long before we even got married it was established what her responsibilities are & that we'd have a traditional situation. Her responsibility is to not start trouble with anybody & expect me to back her up. There is zero chance of me supporting her if she starts BS drama with somebody. These women saying men need to protect them are the same ones starting trouble all the time and then pushing some guy into risking his life to clean up her mess. She sits back all safe while he can get shot, knifed, punched in the mouth, ran over by a car over her mess. It's ridiculous.

This is just more racism cloaked in "wokeness".
I think Smith should be sued for assault. There was no need for his action. It actually made him look weak and posing as a tough guy. Under different circumstances, he would have gotten his ass beat.
There are times when it is absolutely justifiable to defend a woman. This wasn't one of those times.45 Reply- +1 y
He will say he was protecting his wife, but I will always believe he was defending his honour in the most dishonourable way a man can do it. A cheap shot, at an unsuspecting man who was just doing his job, with stage lights shining in his eyes unaware who was walking up on him.

A man gets attacked, how sexist that this is not being treated on the same level as if it were a woman. I thought the world was supposed to be leaning towards equal rights?
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI think its bullshit. Jada should be protecting her man. My older brother is with a bad bitch like Jada. She twists and manipulates him.

Cause he used no force, and held his hands behind his back to show professionalism, and try his best to keep it classy after Will Smith turned a credible awards show into Jerry Springer.

Honestly, I am so unbelievably disappointed in the academy for allowing him to stay, and giving him the opportunity to make his speech. Which he blatantly used to justify his violence, and made no attempt to apologise to Chris. They just rewarded a bully.
They in my eyes, allowed Chris Rock to get smacked twice by doing so. - +1 y
@england4eva Of course they allowed him to stay, the whole thing was rehearsed. I'm just surprised there are so many gullible people about.,

+1 yIt's a sad commentary on society that "everyones gotta get into 'da act", as Jimmy Durante would say, and ride the coat-tails of a popular person/place/event/whatever.
Rock made a stupid comment, Smith made a stupid response, and all the media sources just grab onto the story to hold an audience and make money.
Call it whatever you/they want, but you can only put so much lipstick on a pig.
I'm not saying that we should not be standing up for ourselves and/or our spouses, but the whole fiasco was easily avoidable.10 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yProtect them from what? Jokes? That's all in the world Will Smith did..."protect" his wife from a joke told by a professional comedian.
What exactly is it about Will Smith and his wife that makes them immune to the jokes that everyone has been subjected to by comedians at events like this forever?
What about everyone else who has been the butt of jokes at these events over the years? Should their spouses have walked up on stage and physically assaulted the comedians? Or is it just black women who deserve "protection" from jokes?
If Don Rickles were alive today, he would have been physically assaulted by literally everyone. Or... maybe just by the black spouses?
What THE FUCK is it with people today? They have no sense of humor. They think they have a right to not be offended. Everyone is a fucking victim.10 Reply- 779 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yMy opinion on it is, it was staged. Watch it back and see for yourself. Chris Rock is waving his arms about the whole time.
As soon as Smith is up on stage? he puts them behind his back and sticks his face out.
Cameras are everywhere too at these events, so why then is there no camera angles to show he made contact?10 Reply
+1 yFrom what, exactly? Jokes at their expense? That kind of "roasting" is what award show hosts DO. It's what's they're paid for.
And do you have any idea how many Fresh Prince jokes were about Uncle Phil being bald? I mean, if black women are being attacked on the street, then sure, protection is warranted. But encouraging even MORE thin-skinned defensiveness is the *last* thing society needs right now.10 Reply- 9.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yThe hardcore feminists claim that they don't need any man to protect them
Now we are getting a racially divisive message that black women need the most protection, or they deserve the most protection?
Who is harming black women the most?
Do Hispanic women deserve protection?
We are constantly bombarded with conflicting messages these days20 Reply 2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I'm not familiar with it, or any intricacies it may have, but it seems hyper-racialized. You shouldn't protect a woman just because she's black, you should protect people from general. And you sure as hell shouldn't be giving a race priority of other races.

+1 yPathetic and hilarious. 🤷🏻♂️ It won't stay a trend long enough to mean anything
12 Reply- +1 y
Pathetic for the same reason as @Lliam said in his opinion.
Hilarious because it's not going to "protect" anyone. In smith's case he did what he did because he's on a doggy shock collar hoping for praise when he's not recieving it. Women playing the sensitive victim card so that they can blackmail their men into being their personal attack dogs don't deserve to be defended by desperate men in my opinion. Besides, if this is really some ridiculous trend, it'll be forgotten about by tomorrow for the next one.

promoting violence isn't something that should be promoted. especially on platforms such as tiktok, where there are a lot of teens/preteens. lots of those people were stupid enough to do life-threatening challenges for clout, so there is no doubt that they'll just start becoming extremely violent towards the people around them.
+1 yLol, will smith is a cuck. He didn’t protect his woman, he let out all his anger about being humiliated in public out on Chris Rock

You're the one who made the statement "lots of people", so validate your statement. If you think 5 people equal "lots", I want to know that when I answer you. I haven't noticed the trend you speak of at all, OR have I heard more than a dribble of support for what Smith did.
