How's economy and purchasing power in your country and area?

In Turkey, it sucks.

Minimum wage is just 4250 liras. When housing rent prices are starting from 8000 liras where I live. Food, gas, Technology everything is too expensive. Also, it is even harder to find a minimum wage job and even many difficult jobs just pay minimum wage. You could never have a car or a house by just working for others in this country anymore.

Well the city I’m in just got crowned most expensive in North America. No way you’re living without roommates on less than double minimum wage and required income to buy an average family house is just over $300,000/yr
Outside of the city is not quite as bad, but still absurd
