Are coolie hats offensive?

I saw articles talking about it being racist but i don't really think so. I mean it's ok for me to wear it since I'm Asian anyways. Yes i'm not a Chinese but our culture wear it too. I also have a French beret which i wear sometimes which also happens to be racist according to some articles i've also read unless you're French. I just find it fashionable just like the coolie hats. Same story with sombreros actually but on the other hand, it's also offensive for those snowflake SJWs for Americans to wear a cowboy hat because it represents supremacy and racism. Some sees it as an equivalent to a MAGA hat. Double standards everywhere. Focusing on coolie hats because that's what I love to wear as a sun protector. Really i don't see the big deal if any other race wear those coolie hats or whatever but do you think it should be offensive?

They're waterproof (or at least resistant) and, by the nature of their shaye, can fit any size head simply by being scaled up; there's probably one out there that'd comfortably fit ME (maybe I should look into that...). I'm of Irish descent, and the funny thing about Ireland is that it conquered races. Tde original settlers came, and became Irish. Honestly I think some people are constantly trying to find something new to be offended by. So when people start saying that A or B is offensive my sense of apathy instantly kicks in. Also in general there is always going be something in this world that is going to offend someone. That isn't going to change. So the best thing people can do is work on how they respond to it. Learning to control your reaction and defuse your initial reaction makes being offended something that lasts a few seconds. Not being able to control your reaction and defuse your initial reaction can guarantee that you are going to be angry and offended much longer then a few sec.
