It’s nice, but way bigger than what I need. I know if I had a billion dollars I’d have people taking care of it for me…. but I’m terrible for forgetting things. Like I’m the guy who’s about to get in the car to leave, and I’m like “shit, left my phone charger upstairs”, I’ll go upstairs to my room but by the time I’m there, I’ve forgotten what I went for. Eventually I’ll shrug and just accept that I’ve forgotten, and then later in the day when I need to charge my phone I’m like “FUCK! THAT’S what I went back upstairs for!”🤦♂️ And that’s in a regular house. Doing that in some 10,000 square foot mansion sounds like a nightmare for me, lmao, making all those walks back and forth, forgetting stuff, then forgetting what I forgot😂
If I had $1-billion-dollars I would live there because it has room, space, probably false bookshelves that lead to private rooms lol. I once cleaned a house in Nashville TN that belonged to the East coast manager of O'Charley's and his house was in the millions and he had an entire theater down stairs, an elevator that went up 3 floors, a humidor, and a walk in wine fridge/cooler lol. It was ballin lol!!
In all seriousness though. If I found myself living in a place like this, at this point in time when I'm alone, I would either rent part of it out, or find people who need a home and let them stay for free. I couldn't just live there all by myself. That's my final answer.
No.
I'll sell it, add the couple million to the billion, and buy a smaller net-zero emission constructed, zero-emission home in a nice central neighbourhood with the proceeds.
Then I'd save half the $1B for myself and get rid of the remaining $500M via funding public works projects, lifting people out of debt, and funding social services.
Of the $500M I keep, I'll set up funds to pay for a local community garden, pet sanctuary, and green energy initiatives on a small and volunteer-run scale.
That place looks like a nightmare for cleaning, utilities, taxes, and HOAs. Simpler life is better for me.
No I am very strict when it comes to finances. I wouldn't go around blowing off money , Let's keep in mind the money fairy doesn't exist. Just a regular normal house rest in savings. I never understood why people go crazy about living inside a mansion or gated communities.
My uncle got his house paid off when he bought his 2 bedroom house but he’s now paying $1,000 on his property tax and he lives in the country
That's amazing , Was he always strict when it came to his finance's?
He’s good with his finance but not very good with large sums or more

I prefer land and a cabin or cottage only miles away from water.
I want to walk around naked in my property without a care in the world. I also would use that money on funner things like traveling, outfits, soft comfortable warm and cool linen, trying new flavors, foods, and so on.
There is a lot more better things I can spend big sums of money on then a Big house.
Probably buy a multiple small houses in a different states I adore for vacations.
And cars of course some beautiful classics with a modern engine to keep it running and alive. 😌
Dang such a big house. Like it would be difficult to maintain it and also just too big for me and my future roommate who is probably my sister or best friend. I won't stay in that unless many people accompany me. I just want a small cute home which is easier to maintain. Not such palace type bungalows.
No, but that house is dope lol.
To me I'd rather buy my freedom, set my family up for life. Then be a nomad for a few years living in up. Then when I get my own place just build it where I want, how I want and set it up right.
Then have a few locations over the world that I own under aliases and bug out to whenever I see fit. I'd be a Billionaire no one knows is a Billionaire.
I would not want to live in that house. Paying the taxes and even cleaning all those windows would be too much work.
I prefer living in 2 bedroom cabin house in the Country
No... looks like a pain in the ass to maintain not to mention property taxes and dealing with servants and what not. Not to mention you advertise to people that you have money... not a good idea. Believe it or not most rich people live very modest lives. It is usually the lotto winners, pro-atheletes , and entertainers who don't have self control and foresight that spend, spend, spend and then go broke down the line.
The question is for the audience and by the way I’m super poor working 2 jobs lol
It's too big for me to keep it clean, and to use all rooms available in an equal way.
I'd rather have something ''little'' - and I'll use the billion to buy up all the land around - so that no neighbours would disturb my silence at home :D
That's pretty, and I want a big family. So maybe. It depends on the layout inside. It's certainly beautiful though. I like the stone walls, and the fancy entrance.
I have no use or need of a house that size no matter how much money I have.
I'd rather have a smaller house with a lot of land around it.
No it’s way too big. If I was rich I’d have a midsize rural home (<2000sqft) and a 1 bedroom condo in the city to save on fuel or rent out in the summer.
No. I don't need something so expensive because a smaller house still fulfills my needs. I'd rather be using that money on much more important things.
Sure.. Mind you, it would probably cost that much getting it dissected and brought to the UK piece by piece!
Nope, I have no desire to "keep up with the Jones" showing off my wealth with luxury and extravagance seems childish and petty
Id rather be humble and act like didn't have the money and live in a comfortable and somewhat unorganized messy feels like home house
if i had that much money i'd probably get something a lot bigger than that. it's still a nice house though
Nah, it has major expenses involved but maybe if it has secondary properties in the grounds and a tennis court and/or stables to make some money back on it
Probably not. Too big. Would be a nightmare to clean and heat.
No. One of mine that would look like this would be bigger.
That looks like that house of that ex congressman who had him home invaded. I forget the dudes name.
There was the subway guy
If I was raising a big family sure. But that's too much house for just me.
It's a beautiful home but I want something smaller more mandible my dream home would be a three bedroom cabin with a few acres. That would be amazing
For a person who is single this is too big a house but yes if I had 1 billion dollors then I might consider living in this house.
No I would want something smaller and quite honestly I don't think 1 billion is enough to maintain such a house.
Nah, in short, if I were to own a Mansion, it would likely become "underutilized". I mean, it got more rooms than I know what to do with.
Yes I’d live in it because it looks perfect for a big 🎄 Christmas tree
I’m glad I’m not the only person that imagines the Christmas tree when looking at houses lol
Lmao right? Like if a Christmas tree doesn’t look good in it.. I feel like it’s not the right house for me 😂
It depends. Is it haunted? If it's not then I guess I could live there.
No, it's a nice house but looks too much like a haunted mansion from one of those horror films to me
I rather build my own house for around 300k. But it is a nice house
I'm not interested in the fake vintage style. I would plan and build myself a modern house.
I don't know where is it located? Most likely not because location is key.
I might, but I would want to turn $1 billion into tens of billions and then create my own Bond villain fortress.
No. Way too big. Simply do not need that much house. The house I would choose to live in would not show my wealth off.
I would not because it looks too theatrical, I would prefer something simpler.
No. I much prefer my charming English cottage with the same square footage as that place's entrance.
No its too big to take care of Even if i have help to maintain it I wouldn't buy it
No, I'd sell it, invest the profits, and live in something smaller for me and my SO.
I would be vacuuming 24/7. I'd rather have a cute mobile home.
I'm not the one who disagreed with you, but with a BILLION $ you couldn't afford a cleaner once a week?
@TommyMountainFigure
I would sell it and put it into my Edward Jones account. Then I would buy a trailer house on the lake, and get a row boat. Every evening my puppies and I would go out on the lake and catch us a mess of trout for dinner.
I take a boat out a LOT when I go to the broads.. (About 100 miles away from me) and I certainly do see the attraction of that!
@TommyMountainFigure But why blow money off she's just being smart with managing her money. I agree with her. Plus imagine how much you will have to spend on cleaning products to clean every inch of that mansion. Plush her mobile home will be paid off and the rest goes to savings.
Stevenix smart thinking I agree. It will take a whole day and night keeping with the house chores lol. Also with a mobile home you will be able to pay it off and finally be able to called it home and not worry about paying the mortgage payment or the worry my home is going to foreclosure. I never understood people wanting to live inside a mansion sadly now a days people want to live beyond their wages.
@Alwayreckles93 Property is ALWAYS worth more over time. A place like that in 20 years will have added at least 15% to its value.. You will have earned 1.5 Million $ .. A fair bit more than a cleaner and a few cleaning products.
@TommyMountainFigure I live in the U. S. mansion cost on Tax are going to cost more ney anyways. I would rather live in a town house or trailer paid off and just worry about property taxs.
@Alwayreckles93 Horses for courses.. Still , It's all hypothetical anyway, unless you know of anyone giving away a Billion? :D
@TommyMountainFigure
I took my puppies out on the ocean to go crabbing with me. We had a little sailboat. We had three sails, but it’s just too much work to maintain three sails, so we just sailed with the main. I didn’t attach it correctly, and it was starting to get dark. It was slowly slipping down the 25 foot mast. The tide was taking us away from shore, and my puppies sensed something was wrong. I assured them that I was going to get them back home, and I did. When we got to shore, the sail was almost completely down. The next day I bought us an electric motor. Lol We were back out on the high seas, and catching us tons of crab.
@TommyMountainFigure Woman my age r boring cheapskate.
BRO young 18 - 25 year have better taste and don't care about price.
Like the 2 Karen's here they is bitching about spending money 🤑💰
@Alwayreckles93
I've lived in two mobile homes, and I loved them both. One I rented and one I owned. My late father gave me some good advice. He said that no matter what happens throughout the day, your dogs will always love you when you get home. No truer words have ever been spoken. We've all had good days and bad days. And when you come home, the best you can hope for is for them not to pee on the carpet because of your presence. We are all rock stars in they eyes of our doggies.
StevieNux That's very cute, I have a border collie. What about you? That is wonderful. Good thing is you can do whatever you want plant flowers decorate however you want not worry about Association restrictions. I just sold my home which was in a gated community. Now bought homes which it will be paid off within three years lol
@Alwayreckles93
I'm a poodle person. If you Google it, they are very smart. But my brother has two labs. The chocolate can read. I shit you not. I thought he was just messing with me when he said Bailey could read. My brother took his dogs to doggie college. Doggie colleges don't teach dogs, they teach the owners of dogs. My niece can read ten words. I thought it was a trick, but it was not. She understands better English than most people on this site.
So cute. You see I didn't even know they had doggie college. Thats good I wish they had doggie college near me. Yes dogs are smart it takes dedication passion and love. I did took my border collie his name bobby to a doggie restaurant they even have their own menu.
@Tornado92 What makes all this worse is it's not even real money.. it's hypothetical and STILL they don't want to spend it..
I don’t know I would have to see what other options were out there as well as what the inside looks like.
Invest. Buy a lot of land. Open up my dream work place. Adopt dogs. Help nature. Build my own custom eco home. Donate to plenty of animal shelters. Would learn so many things.
I would live in a much better house than that. Before all the inflation, you could build a house like that for a million easy
If im single it'd probably be a cutom luxury penthouse of some sort. But most of my money would be in investments, land and my businesses.
Probably not. What better way to advertise that you are loaded with cash than having a house like this.
Fuck hell yeah bro!!!
What is the point of being rich if u ain't gonna enjoy it!!!
Nah, I could find a way more interesting place for me and keep more of the money.
Nope. I am good with the 300,000. Don’t need something that extreme
No thank you, way too big. I like small-medium houses more. Like half of a duplex but maybe a wee bigger
That’s an ugly ass house but if I had that kinda money I’d set up a tent under a bridge and beg for money because I’ll have the time to
I would build that house to my specification out in the country somewhere on about 500 acres
Give me a nice shack in the woods in the middle of a thousand acres, or more and I would be happy!
Only if it’s haunted and I also want you to stay there too since you brought it up
No why would a single person need such a big house? You must be such a sad sad person to own something like that.
They could have a big family.
That’s a small house for a billionaire or am I crazy?
No, too small! For that money I could live in Buckingham Palace.
No. I'd prefer Something more simple and modern. A little smaller too.
Yeah. I dint see why not
Yes I would. It looks beautiful and luxurious.
I’d like a minimalist apartment. But i’ll drive a porsche on the daily.
No, that looks nothing like my future mansion.
I would need a staff, but yes.
nope, i think it's kinda ugly
Hell the fuck yea why tf not
It looks hunted, no thanks
