Someone pro life in that position needs to rethink their need to be a doctor,

A battle field surgeon with a guy without arms and legs in need of blood transfusion with no real hope for recovery versus a person who can recover of given blood.

I would assume a majority of medical doctors are whatever is the prevailing belief within the industry, the same that a majority of psychologists/ psychiatrists believe in the transgender bs- it's what they're taught in school, and there is immense pressure to conform/ go along.

@Avicenna There's actually plenty. My father worked in social work for 30 years in an area that was highly catholic and highly pro-life. Children that were disabled were abandoned like trash at orphanages, etc. Children of rape were likewise abandoned. Why do you think orphanages & what not exist? Because people get bored or something? They're designed for unwanted babies and the vast majority of those come from people who will not get an abortion.

Why would parents abort when each child means more support money for drugs & booze? The two are not even comparable... aborting a disabled child or a child of rape that won't be "wanted" - again why else dumped at an orphanage - is not the same as keeping a child born to drug addicts. Should both be aborted... from a moral stand point as both may have very terrible lives... yes.

If terminating a pregnancy is the best option for their patient, whether it be due to that patient having severe health issues that will complicate a birth, or due to the patient just not wanting a baby, then the doctor should be on their side no matter what. And if the patient wants the baby and is able to carry through with a pregnancy, then the doctor should support them.
