This question is interesting, but the answer can't be yes or no. Racism is indeed mostly learned, or at least encouraged, although basically every animal, humans included, are endowed with a form of intolerance on behalf of individuals not belonging to the same group.

The situation with homosexuality is quite different. Set aside a small percentage of people indeed learning or tricked into believing they're gay or lesbian, generally it's not a real choice, although often the result of a psychological treuma. Someone falling in love on the other hand is sincere, whatever the real psychological or genetic reasons.

Personally I'm convinced that the sexual drive has no gender in itself, although evolution led a male and female to procreate, which led the male-female principle to prevail, to the point of becoming the model imposed in many societies. .

In some situations, a normal hetero person can have relations with the same gender because the other gender not being available. That's something which has been observed for instance in cows and dogs. Often it's not the sex that's important but the urge to dominate.

There are still some people just choosing to be gay or lesbian. I know personally such a young guy. He had a real success with girls, and one day he met a guy. Something led him to doubt whether he'd continue his relation with his girlfriend or shift to his recently met friend. Ultimately he plainly decided to live with that friend. This guy really chose to be gay.

The subject of homosexuality is very complex and pointing to one cause is just silly and shortsighted.

I do not. Racism is learned, mostly during or after puberty. It is taught by parents, fellow students and government schools. Homosexuality is not necessarily taught nor necessarily inborn. It is a predisposition that can be triggered by social conditions.

But if sex was treated like the full experience it should be, then nobody would associate the (purely physical) dominant as men and submissive as women.
