The reason why is because of stereotypes from the 1800s about how Asian guys were less masculine because the immigrants would do typical female jobs that no white dude ever would ever ever do, so people started thinking they were biologically less masculine ie attractive. that's kinda why (apparently). plus there's also the nerd virgin overrachiever stereotype too, and that does bring them down more i guess. also the height difference might have played a role to in the past, because immigrants used to be shorter than white people on average (but that's not genes that's because of the diet) so that could maybe make them look less appealing maybe

My theory on Asian men being unattractive is that they are more nit picky about a woman’s BMI and profession and demeanour and are often slimmer because their parents or grandparents lived through the great famine that killed 1/5 of the country, which caused their genes to be skinnier, and also Asian men have bigger heads in proportion to the rest of their bodies and they are less interested in sex cause Asians marry early and there is no open buffet in the sexual marketplace. It’s shunned in the Chinese media and in movies.

A lot of Asian countries have had a history of prioritizing combat prowess and discipline. Not just Japan by the way.
India and china are awesome examples of Asian countries that aren't Japan that had a focus on discipline and combat skills.
