The ones who's pages/channels are dedicated to something like make up or cars then decide to give their biased uniformed opinion on political topics and mislead their audiences

The issue isn't the influncers/celebrities it's a massive undercurrent of laziness. People should listen to both sides of a given topic and do their own research. That way people come to their own opinion based on a well rounded view on said topic. But to do so you have to put in some time, energy and effort. So people take the lazy route. They just jump on a given band wagon or base their entire view on preconceived notions.
Sad truth is that when you choose to put in the intellectual work to from your own views and opinions some will hate you for it. Simply because your opinion does not line up with theirs or you choose to disagree with their views or opinions due to some legitimate criticisms that you found through research and listening to both sides.
But the people that dislike you for have a differing view or opinion on any given topic due to you putting in the intellectual work are doing themselves a disservice. Not only by being unwilling to engage in a intellectual conversation with you. They end up not realizing one of life's truths. Knowledge is power and it can be passed on. Also the more knowledgeable we are, the harder we are to fool.
In the end whatever influence a influncers or celebrities have is based around people being intellectually lazy and easily fooled. Also the truth of it is that many influncers or celebrities are just as intellectually lazy and easily fooled as the people they are influencing. So they are unintelligent and easily lead around by the nose. Just like the people they influence. Because of that in the end it might as well being blind idiots leading blind idiots.
So give the government and some form of "certified" (by the government) news media total monopoly over the spread of information?
F*CK. NO. Yeah, most "influencers" are absolute morons who present their personal, often uneducated opinions as fact, but that's the consumer's fault for not recognizing it. You do not want the government dictating the news, no matter how benevolent you may think its intentions.

No. I don't believe in banning free speech. Stupid people have a right to express their opinions. It's up to listeners to be discerning.
As for the idea of misleading audiences, politicians and mainstream media are the worst. How many morons are misled by those motherfuckers?
No we have free speech at least in the United States social media influencers of course should be allowed to speak on politics issues I personally may disagree with them or disagree with there opinion but of course they should have the right to speak on politics
You’re free to not place any value on their views.
You’re not forced to listen to it, you’re not forced to click on their page, and you’re not forced to watch their videos.
Just because you don’t agree with their politics doesn’t necessarily mean it ought to be banned.
I don’t know. I mean, every idiot with Facebook or Twitter can do the same. I’ve just decided that humans are, by and large, absolute morons, and just about nothing that comes out of any of our mouths should be taken even the least bit seriously.
That heavily infringes on their freedom of speech and is also impossible to enforce since everything is political one way or another.
Well considering the majority of them are under-educated on just about all forms of politics? Yes yes they should be banned.
Nobody should be banned from speaking. If they are spewing BS, let them get made a fool of.
Why the fuck do shithead gatekeepers like you, with zero following, think your farts and opinions are better than anyone else's?
If anything, you should be suicidal and ashamed that they can get a following and change opinions, where something like you can barely get your parents attention.
Reported lol
But then the democrats would lose 90% of their power.
Even if you are an idiot you still have the right to speak your mind. Just laugh at them like I do.
Whats the cut off of celeb or influencer? The growing pains kid ain't “celebrated”.
