Maxine Waters encouraging others to fight for their rights by making their voices heard through obvious protest, writing their senators and so forth is not insight an insurrection.

Next time you want to create a political question do your best to present it in an unbiased way and say your stance for soley for the additional information section to, "let your opinion fly wild." Makes the answers you get polarizing otherwise and how is that productive?

How are you defining insurrection? If defying a court order is insurrection, there wouldn't be enough jail space to hold everyone. She's not suggesting that there be an organized effort to "overthrow the Supreme Court", she's encouraging civil disobedience. However, it's a stupid approach.

You can't "defy" the law of the state you're in and get an abortion after their allotted allowed time within the state because you won't find a doctor to do it. You could ignore a law like Texas has and go outside the state after its 6 week limit, and risk being ratted on by some cunt (that includes men) who want a reward. If that's what she means, it's still not an insurrection. Attempting to force politicians to overturn, with no proof, a legal election by violent means - now THAT'S an insurrection.

Neither your post nor her comment make any sense. First of all, the SCOTUS did not ban abortion, so getting one or supporting those who do would NOT be defying the court. They simply said that states could pass legislation to ban or restrict it. What she should have said was to defy the red (neck) states that want to control a woman's body. Fortunately some prosecutors in those states have said they will not prosecute abortion cases.

Will the Supreme Court next decide that slavery is up to the individual states?
