What possible difference would that make when Republics such as Mitchell McConnell work hand in hand with democrats to suppress liberties of the American public. His fingerprints are all over the Senate’s new gun control bill. Republicans will congratulate themselves for having taken a “historic step” in fighting “gun violence,” while undermining the Bill of Rights. McConnell and other Republicans secretly enjoy the idea of grabbing guns from the freedom-minded Tea Party and “Make American Great Again” Americans they despise.
And, McConnell gave the Russia collusion hoax legitimacy by pretending that it deserved serious investigation. Then Republican governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley ordered that “the Confederate flag” which hitherto had flown on the South Carolina capitol grounds be removed. “It should never have been there,” she offered.
The fact is that Republicans, the so-called “conservative party,” are not “worth tits on a boar hog.”

I'm not sure it'll be that long... The Republicans have some major issues too and people have short attention spans. Right now for example there are at least 10, maybe 12 identifiable RINOs in the Senate, which means unless the conservatives were to outnumber the combined count of those guys and the Democrats, they're going to have a hard time undoing what the Democrats have already started, and I don't think it's actually mathematically possible to do that this cycle (2022). It would only take one presidential term of a deadlocked government for people to lose their patience and then flip sides again.

Nah. You have to keep in mind the obscenely short attention span of most young US citizens. They degraded from cable TV programming because a half-hour show was too long. Then they degraded from utoob and the like because 15 minutes was too long. Utoob is now losing market to tiktok because kids can’t stand to entertain the same thought for more than a few minutes at a time. The campaign process has adapted. We only read and hear exactly what they want us too for 6-9 months leading up to the election. We don’t fact check their statements today against what they said last year, let alone compare it to their published voting record! Look at the Roe v Wade decision. The outraged left had all weekend to set the world ablaze, and nothing. There’s no one left to challenge the status quo. They’ve got us where they want us and nothing will ever change.
Depends on how bad Republicans screw things up when they get power. It’s so fascinating how fast an election win goes to peoples heads. They completely forget about all the promises they made to get there. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if 2-term presidents became a thing of the past.
Honestly, both parties have gone the extremist route in recent years. I think we are going to see a game if tug of war just going back and forth.
I'm a firm believer that in our lifetime, we are going to see the entire American government collapse in on itself if both parties continue their extremist agendas.

There will never be another Democratic president.
