Man every time I come back to this site it just seem to nosedive deeper and deeper into stupidity.
Anyone who is anti abortion, is anti life, ironically, lets be real. They do not care one bit about children or life. Being anti abortion, you are just advocating for more death, torture and suffering. Quality of life matters, we don't need more kids in more broken homes.
99% of all abortions happen before 25weeks where science in general agree this is the first signs of consciousness that appear. So the people who claim "murder babies" have really no idea what they are even talking about. Secondly isn't it funny, how once said baby is born, nobody gives a shit about it. People somehow think they are morally superior by this attitude of sparing a life of misery is worse than condemning it to a life time of suffering. Say if in a rape case a women is forced to give birth to a baby, it would be practically impossible to love that baby, if anything it would be normal for her to even hate her own child, it would be normal to even be abusive towards the child cause of what happen to her, this would be the normal response to something that was forced against you. You would naturally have resentment, hatred even.
Even if we don't go with a rape case. Just someone who don't feel like they are either ready for a child or can offer a child a good home or future, or if they have mental illness that would be hindering to be a good parent or whatever really. Even if you do all the right things as well, there is no contraceptive that is 100% either. Unless you like remove the uterus, hell even then, it's not guaranteed, but guaranteed dead born/still birth, (I forget the English word). Anyway, what would be their options?, put the child up for adoption? As we know, there are too many kids there as well, who don't grow up with any loving parents. Plenty of kids who wish they were never born cause of it. That's how they would grow up too, if forced to live with a parent who didn't want them, constant reminder. Are broken homes like these that lead to more suffering in society too. People who again murder and rape.
Again quality of life matters.

My general sort of view is that the risk of pregnancy, no matter how great or how low, should be factored in before sex. For instance, if a condom gives you a 1% risk factor of pregnancy, that risk factor should be acknowledged, and if pregnancy does occur, it doesn’t justify abortion. Consent for sex is not just a consent for the sexual act, but also consent for the potential risks associated (e. g. STDs, pregnancy, regrets, etc.) The reason I see why this is important is because I consider the unborn fetus as a human life from moment of conception.
If the mother is in a medical emergency and is at risk (e. g. a mother or child situation), I would place an exception there, since it becomes a life vs life situation. With medical advances as they are today though, I would not consider standard non-complicated child birth risks to justify an abortion.
I would somewhat acknowledge an exception on situations where one party does not have the ability to consent to the sex. Rape is the most notable question point here. For situations of rape, I still think it’s morally wrong to have an abortion, since it’s still ending the life of a human. However, I can’t logically justify with my initial assertion to say it’s wrong. Thus, I would view it as logically ok but a morally wrong act in itself.
I'm sorry but what about the 10 year old girl who was pregnant, does child abuse no longer count? I get that she is 6 weeks along already she probably didn't even know she could get pregnant. How many more heartbreaking stories like this are we going to here with this no exception for rape and incest, and we don't know what it was in the case. Sure every child's life is important, unless you become a childbearing female, then the life of the unborn takes precedence, even if you are still a child, no matter how early in the pregnancy.

Some say I am anti, some say I am pro... cause I'm okay with the morning after pill being as cheap and easy to get as a bottle of Tylenol. Many say that makes me pro-choice cause its abortion. I don't think the morning after pill is.
I'm even okay with abortion up to 6 weeks, and in cases of the mothers life being endangered or rape/incest.
Many say that makes me anti abortion, others say it makes me pro choice, so whatever.
I say if the morning after pill is cheap and easy, no one would ever really need an abortion, ever.

I am pro life but I am very pro birth control. Let’s do all we can to prevent white from meeting red.
As for exceptions I go with the following: rape, incest or danger to the mothers health.
I also believe there is a gray area if prenatal testing determines there is a serious problem with the baby (Down syndrome, deformity, etc).
I have gotten judged for saying that (ironically from liberals as well as conservatives). But if the woman is already regretting getting pregnant and then she finds out her baby is going to have a serious disability? What then? That’s why I think that one is debatable. Both sides have gone to ridiculous extremes. I don’t see a two cell zygote as a human. Women lose about 80% of fertilized eggs without knowing they were pregnant. I also don’t see a seventh month fetus with a 95% survival rate outside the womb as simply a body part.
And, as revolting as I find abortion, I can’t see telling a rape victim to carry her attacker’s child.
While the Bible says God knew you in the womb, it doesn’t say life begins at conception. The Sikh religion celebrates the soul entering the baby’s body at 45 days, which is when brain waves start. That belief actually lines up with science. The problem with your opinion is who gets to decide the risk to the mother? Because obviously you are not going to trust women who say they think their life is in danger. You won’t trust the doctor who certifies their belief.
The point is that these decisions about life, privacy, rape, etc. lie with states and not with the women who are pregnant. It is okay to have an opinion. That is your right. However, having an opinion doesn't including telling others that they must live according to your opinion. In any event, you have very strange opinion. Incest is justification but rape by some Negro with Downs Syndrome is not.
If the girl is underage.
If the pregnancy is risky on her life.
If the kid is at risk of being a cripple.
Here's the controversial one: of BOTH parents declare they are unfit financially to raise the kid (and that's for early not late abortion).
In the case where either parent says they are willing to have the baby the baby is kept and that parent gets sole custody with absolutely no child support from the unwilling parentSo I feel like there should be no exceptions. As far as rape goes I get that the female does not want to look at that child and relive what has happened every time she sets eyes on them BUT she doesn't have to GIVE THEM UP FOR ADOPTION... There are so many people really good people that can't have kids and would love that child... So the moral of the story is if you don't want kids grow up and do what is necessary to prevent pregnancy... Yes sometimes you still get pregnant so that's Gods will for you just accept it.
No exceptions. Now hang the practitioners! Publicly! Reverse Lawrence next! Monkeypox will go extinct as a bonus. Any ghouls who riot, hang them too! Also publicly! Send the communist degenerates a message: America isn't f*cking around anymore! #BidenForTheBronzeBull
Time to go Vlad!Pro-Life
I am fine with abortion if it puts the mother's life at risk or is a serious health risk to her.
Also for rape or incest, or if they can tell that the kid will have a serious health issue where they will be repeatedly hospitalized while growing up and will likely die by their early 20s after years of suffering. Those are the only reasons it would be okay.that was more or less the whole point behind Safe, Legal, Rare.
safe = if she willingly consented to sex or not. legal = if she was abused or raped. rare = if the health of the mother or child is at high risk of not surviving. but whenever possible medical professions should try to save both.No i still think adoption is a better alternative than abortion. I’d rather die giving birth than get rid of my offspring. I’m jus that serious about it. But what others do with their body is on them
I’m pro-life and would never make that choice myself but I’m not arrogant enough to believe I can force my morality on others who don’t share it. It should remain legal for those who want it. As a society, we need to stay out of other people’s business.
the only people that should be allowed to have an abortion is anyone that is colored or liberal. in fact we should make it mandatory and build these institutions in these neighborhoods. wait. why are we ending this? this isn't why i voted for Trump twice. i wanted endless colored people and liberal murder camps!!
I must ask. How would anyone know it was incest? What point is the mother's life in danger? Because a pregnancy overall is life threatening (maternal mortality rate is 24 per 100000) so where and when is the line drawn? Who gets to decide?
The only exception might be the health of the mother. But what if the mother is a peice of sht? Still?
In the end we are trying to justify the premature ending of a life. When doing something that permanent and violent, it requires some strict boundaries. So if a 12 old girls brother rapes her, it’s okay for her to have an abortion.
however if her step brother does it, then she cannot have an abortion.
yeah I can see how that is balanced.
But why incest?I believe in exceptions for when the woman did NOT voluntarily have sex, such as rape or incest.
My limits is I agree with the Jews the mothers life is in serious risk then you have the right to abortion. Incest and rape I’m sorry but you don’t get to kill a child just because the dad is someone I would execute
I believe that everyone agrees that rape is one case where its acceptable IF in the first 72 hrs another is to save the mother.
Real doctors cause early induced labor or c section to save the mothers life. Abortionists intentionally terminate the baby and rip it out, there is no exception where that is necessary or moral.
100% for saving the life of the mother.
Rape is a bit iffy. If it is done to a girl young enough where giving birth would kill her then yes. Otherwise, it is a due process issue as I strongly doubt courts would have the time to look at the case until after the baby is born.
