Why is society cursing men with marriage instead of rewarding them with it?

Not giving men the benefits and responsibilities of marriage is causing society to crumble.

Marriage in the West has changed a lot over the last 50 years, and despite what certain "studies" claim, men benefit less from marriage than women do, and men benefit far less than they used to. That's why men are avoiding marriage in record numbers and the marriage rate is at an all time low. And yes, it's terrible for western society. What we are witnessing today is a grand experiment that has failed, whether or not we collectively recognize it yet, and the results will be devastating to western society.

I don't think society, whatever that is, is not giving men the benefits of marriage. I think the concept of marriage has been butchered to the point that there are no benefits at all to be had in the first place. Since marriage isn't mandatory by law, men aren't forced to go along with it and that's why I personally don't bother with it. If it ruins society in the future, society had it coming.

I have no clue what benefits you mean. But men who think getting married is for benefits of any kind I don't understand. It's to show love and dedication and a wonderful event.
