I think what’s most startling is that a feminist has become a symbol of moderation on Faux News! THAT’S how insane the far left has gone. A notoriously conservative news group is defending and praising a feminist! Ell oh ell!
We MUST be living in a simulation!
Also, per the update:The US DOES have hate speech laws. You’re right that we can’t be jailed for saying ignorant and hateful things alone. But sentences are harsher for criminal offenses if the motivation can be tied to hate speech.16 Reply- +1 y
That’s not true. In some states, any crime that can be tied to hate speech makes the crime a hate crime. They are not mutually exclusive.
- +1 y
To be clear, the speech isn’t prosecuted separately. It’s used to change the crime to a hate crime for harsher penalties. You touched on an example of hate crimes charged in the absence of words written or spoken during the commission. A road rage incident turns into a fist fight between a white guy and literally any ethnic minority. White guy is arrested and charged with assault. Suddenly a witness shows up and says, “He’s a racist!”. Charges bump up to hate crime. Even better if they search his social media and he’s left evidence of unpopular opinions on race relations. Unconstitutional or not, it’s definitely happened. And it’s likely to continue happening. I’m torn on the issue. Hateful people should go to prison for longer. They shouldn’t get away with a hate crime just because they’re smart enough to NOT say something in the heat of the moment. Then again, i’ve said some pretty ignorant stuff in my time. Under the wrong set of circumstances, i could end up in prison for a hate crime!

+1 yWe Europeans don't want a society where you're free to abuse people. You shouldn't be free to shout "n**" at a black guy in the street. You shouldn't be free to verbally harass someone because of their religion. You shouldn't be free to stand in front of a gay guy and hurl abuse in his face. You've only got to look at what happened to the Jews to see where allowing hate leads. But let's be honest, that's your goal isn't it? To dehumanise groups of people so you can eliminate them.
119 Reply- +1 y
Actually people were LESS sensitive back when people could say whatever they wanted to AND more respectful because they knew if they said the wrong thing they could get punched in the mouth. Not everybody would walk around saying abusive things. Now in places where people believe words can kill... they become more and more sensitive. Eventually you will get into trouble for saying a man can't give birth to a child as that will be ruled as hate speech. It already is in Canada I think. Once you say that someone's feelings are the most important thing you can always find people who have ridiculously low tolerance and have their feelings hurt by ANYTHING you say because they just don't like you.
- +1 y
I don't agree with broad brushing people based on race or ethnicity. But I also don't think it should be legislated that one can't do those things because laws don't change people's hearts. If you in Europe haven't had another Hitler, it's not because of laws. It's because people chose not to go that direction. And if they ever choose to have another Hitler they will simply re-write the laws. That's how politics works.
- +1 y
@purplepoppy. You Europeans are desperate to self- destruct in the most brutal Orwellian fashion, which is fine and humorous towatch, but I worry your sickness is spreading to the US.
So I bet you believe the left wing feminist in Norway who questioned a biological point of transgender "females", should do three years in prison? - +1 y
@purplepoppy. Putin would roll through you fools like warm butter.
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin exactly man, a lesbian getting 3 years in prison for saying a man can't get pregnant is the point we are at now in Europe. What will happen in Europe may happen in the United States so it behooves us to help our European friends. Frankly I would rather the USA have liberated Norway then have bothered with Iraq.
- +1 y
@Juxtapose. Agreed. Perhaps an invasion of Scandinavia is in order. We could make the Scandinavians eat pizza, French fries.
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin and to make it all the better, we will have them call the french fries freedom fries haha 🤣
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin Ha, I did not even watch the video you posted... sorry. Now I see.. they already are doing this thing. Well... let them try to arrest anybody I know for stating a biological fact and there will be an uprising.

Did you actually watch the video, poppy?
You don't want a society where people are free to express their opinion.
And there's a difference between expressing your opinion, and abusing or harassing people.
We also have to make a differentiation between what should be socially unacceptable and what should be criminalised. The bar for criminalisation in any civilised and supposedly liberal society should be rather high. - +1 y
Lol this chick was being racist 2 years ago calling black people the N word and monkeys. Thats why I have no idea if she's screwing around with half the ish she says or she's serious not only that she was newish to GaG and gained master Hella fast so she takes this site serious. So she must be a hypocrite like AOC.
It's absolutely horrendous, disgusting and wrong, but look on the bright side; Norwegian prisons are like luxury five-star hotels, and for the next three years she won't need to pay for a single thing because all will be provided for her free of charge.

+1 yNorway, along with Sweden and Finland, are annually in the top 20 or top 25 (depending on the source and the year) when it comes to suicides, so there are definitely a number of other reasons why, besides speech, that they're not really the utopia they claim to be. Anyway, I disagree with Norwegian policy here, but they're not part of the United States, or even part of other countries in Europe. Norway is a free and independent country, and they're allowed have their own silly laws, no matter how nonsensical they may be.
16 Reply- +1 y
While I get your point in terms of perception, I'm not really sure how something like that would work. Plus, how many countries on the planet actually have a majority Caucasian population? Most of the countries in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, and the Diet Soviet Union. Am I missing anyone?
Should we have an intervention with Norway over their free speech limitations? Should we have an intervention with Australia over their Covid camps? Should we have interventions with Communist China and the Diet Soviet Union over any number of human rights reasons? Should any of these situations require more than an intervention?
We can never win the perception war in the world as a country. Whether we do something, anything, nothing, or everything on the international stage, we get criticized. It's not right.
Also, remember this: Clinton did have us intervene with Serbia in 1998 when they were slaughtering ethnic Muslims in Bosnia, and rightfully so. - +1 y
Maybe, but I really believe that you're oversimplifying the situation. I can do the same thing. Based on odds alone, when we intervene with another country, that country probably going to be a non-Caucasian country, because the vast majority of countries on the planet are non-Caucasian.
I completely agree that Norway threatening this woman with prison because she vocalizing biology is unacceptable, but should we actually intervene? Or even worse? How far do we go to make a point? Norway is an ally, a NATO member, and a Schengen country. They're also one of the 51 original UN members, and on excellent standing.
I'm not suggesting that this isn't important. What I am suggesting is that if we were to decide to act on this, I can virtually guarantee that we would be acting alone.
+1 yIn America you can be tried by secret court using secret evidence you of your lawyer never gets to see.
You can be held indefinitely by the federal government.
The US government can legally execute a US citizen without trial.
The US government can survial and search you without warrant.
US citizens are under constant survivalisnce.
The US government can extradite us Citizens to foreign countries where us law does not apply so they can torture you.
A lot of current inmates in the US prison system were given the choice by state and federal prosecutors to either confess to a crime they didn't commit or face an extraordinate amount of jail time or an execution. Thus denied a fair trial.
In America having money can get you off from jail or prosecution even if guilty and if poor and innocent you are likely to go to jail.
The Norwegian government cannot do this.

I remember being taught in school that behind the iron curtains there were cameras surveilling people in the street and the government could tap a person’s phone, but not here in the land of the free. Well, irony of ironies, we’ve taken surveillance to the next level. Anyone who thinks we’ll be free to speak in the US for much longer is kidding themselves. An iron curtain is falling and now the West is on the wrong side.
- +1 y
Free speech is among the most fundamental rights of them all and if you can't even state a biological reality then that is going to affect you a lot more than the government superseding your rights when it thinks you're involved with isis or some bullshit.
I never said the USA was perfect but our free speech is a lot better than Norway's. - +1 y
Realistically if it suits their needs you could be. I mean what do you think this latest Biden initiative to track "white supremacists" is about.
You do or say anything the federal government or a politician (republican or democrat) doesn't like and your deemed a white supremacist. They might not even arrest you but persecute you using the IRS, put you on the no fly list, take away your firearms, search your home, shut your buisness down or make it hard to do buisness, preventyou from getting a state or federal government job, or do what Trudeau did in Canada shut people's bank accounts down. China has that whole social credit thing, say the wrong thing and you can't work, travel or have money.
5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Completely insane. Those deranged people ignore biology and simple fact, all to avoid hurting the feelings of a tiny minority of militant tranny activists?
I think there is actually more to it than that. There's a social engineering agenda at play.23 Reply- +1 y

+1 yI actually love this! If we can create a situation just like this in the US it would be ideal. Let me explain.
If we can implement laws for hate speech in a similar fashion all we need is 1, just 1 feminist to object and the other feminist will come to her aid.
Then the feminazis and woke fools will literally devour one another thereby causing liberalism to devour itself.
I hate to agree with feminists but this one is right.22 Reply- +1 y
I mean that tongue in cheek. Not literally. Of course you don’t make deals with the Devil and making having an opinion hate speech is never good.
1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Norway (and whole Scandinavia) is fucked up when it comes to feminism
They made a law that 30% of all CEO in companies have to be women. Guess what - they couldn't find enough candidates :D
So on this law a group of women risen, that were jockingly called "golden skirts". Their jobs was to do nothing but just fill these parithets (of course they were doing nothing in these companies, those were empty positions, like in communism).
The recordist was employed in 30 companies at the same time on a nonexisting positions, just because she was a female, and they had to have a female employed.
10 ReplyNo country on our planet is free. All governments prohibit, tax, dictate. Which means they own your body. They own slaves. If we're entertained with their ideas of whatever crap they manufactured about someone somewhere losing their rights, doesn't change the fact that we're all already enslaved.

Nobody is free no matter where you are06 Reply- +1 y
In the USA you can get arrested for not having electricity run to your property. You can also get arrested for harvesting rainwater. You can't carry a gun anywhere you want.
When the government tells you you owe them money you pay up or go to prison.
Don't tell me you live in a free country - +1 y
@In_Trance actually were free cause in another country you can't even get a lawyer for none of the things you mentioned but in the US we can get a lawyer to fight everything you mentioned and avoid jail and not pay the government anything. That's the difference. So actually we're FREE.
- +1 y
Well @In_Trance, I'm not sure where you're from, or if you even care to find reason not to hate our beloved country. But, in case you didn't know, I have a choice whether or not to live in an area that requires utilities. Just like I can choose to live in a neighborhood that has Homeowner's Association Fees -- these are merely intended to retain property values. If I want to disappear in the woods of Alaska, I certainly can.
- +1 y
This conversation is going exactly the way I thought it would and I should know better by now.
My original response said Norway is no different than any other country. It doesn't matter where you live you are mandated to do certain things and live in a certain way. You want to go live in the woods you can do that anywhere in the world if you really want to.
If you don't you're going to pay taxes. That's not voluntary.
We all just live through covid and also first hand how much freedom really mattered. Nobody was free and any so-called freedom that did exist was taken from everyone in the blink of an eye. In Norway and the United States and everywhere else.
Nobody is free
