Why isn't no-one talking about HOW a 10 yr-old got pregnant? I’ve read about antibiotics in food but puberty is 13-14, I thought….

I wonder at what age do the antichoice people think should be the cut off because child rape with girls does happen far too often just as child rape of boys happen to often but boys don't get pregnant (though they can have other life long damaging effects).

I realize that people don't like abortion, I personally don't believe a person soul automatically begins at conception or even until the 2nd trimester so I voted yes, the embryo was six weeks. While I respect people that are pro-life, they really need to look at the quality of every life as well, a young girl at age 10 being forced to be pregnant and give birth to a child carries it's own unique risks, https://www.healthline.com/health/adolescent-pregnancy#effect-on-babies (this actually teens but I imagine risks are even worse for preteens). One thing all those pro-life people need to realize, is this embryo that was created should have never even been created, it wouldn't have happened had this girl not have been raped. So, yeah, sad that an assault would lead pregnancy but the embryo would never have existed if, parents, governement, society etc could do a better job protecting our children.

Sorry, for the rant, but I've seen people get more pissed at the doctor than the actual rapist, and more people pissed about abortions, even those as result from rape than they are about the fact that this level of sexual violence with girls and women is even occuring for them to choose abortion or contemplate choosing abortion.

Yes because 10--year-olds are not able to get birth. The pro-life movement is about you willingly having sex over the age of 18. And you get pregnant you should have to give birth to the child the exception of of course is the potential death of the mother.

I have been convinced that even in rate cases unless it’s going to cause the actual death of the mother they should have to get birth to it. It is a very very unpopular position that I’m taking if you want to trying to convince me otherwise I am still open for it. But I don’t trust anyone not a lie that’s includes women house includes men For those Think I’m trying to be sexist here. Unfortunately since the election of Donald Trump and the #MetooMovement many Women Decide To Lie About Being Raped. For example there was a girl in college who said that the top members of the Football team had gang raped her in the bathroom that’s turned out to be completely untrue she just want to get the excuse to her boyfriend that she had been rape, that’s why she got pregnant by the top four members of the college football team all four of them were expelled even though she willingly had sex with all of them. This is why I don’t make the exception from rape when it comes to abortion unless you’re coming forward that night and we can get a DNA test not to three months later when we have absolutely no idea whether or not you were raped or you willingly had sex.

The best solution here is keep it in our pants until we’re married.

The first was just something that came up for me. Not really related to this topic. Explaining the rest: its a crime that is not good that it is a crime. Why make her life even harder or possible end it to not allow her an abortion? Of course it doesn't negate the first crime but it will make the consequences for the victim less harsh. And the last part: honestly to deny the right of abortion without thinking about these situations at all is like wanting it. And this is what if feels like. They want rape victims to carry the child otherwise they would change the law. They want to endanger childs otherwise they would change the freaking law.

Yes after the rape there is no good solution but why not make it the still possible best one?
