weapons delivered, but they r still outnumbered 2 to 1
5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. There's a lot of factors beyond numbers, and frankly most information about that war is propaganda bullsh*t from one side or the other.
Russia is taking an absolute pounding especially to their armored vehicles and aircraft, plus they've lost a few ships including the Moskva cruiser and several cargo and landing ships. When taking numbers from multiple sources and excluding a couple obvious outliers from the usual suspects, Ukraine is losing an average of 3 soldiers for every 5 that Russia loses, and both are relying pretty heavily on volunteers and mercenaries from allied countries to supplement their numbers.

u +1 yDepending on the front sector and the weapon system the Ukrainians might be even outnumbered 10 : 1. But so what? They are fighting on their hometurf, for all or nothing. And they are sending more Russians through the meatgrinder than vice-versa. According to US and UK DoD, they invaded with ~180.000 troops and already have fatalities plus casualties north of 45.000 men. They even dragged 60 years old tanks out of storage because they lost too many modern tanks. For them it will end like Afghanistan 2.0!

I don't know, what do you call "winning"?
I mean, to know if Russia is going to win, I would like to know first of all what are its war objectives, has Russia always had the same objectives since the beginning war? Or on the contrary has it evolved, and if they have evolved in what sense? Ambitions revised downwards or upwards?
For Ukraine I think that for them it is to prevent Russia from continuing to advance and certainly to want to recover the lost territories, for the second objective I think that it is lost.00 Reply
+1 yThere won't be any winners here, it is a lose-lose situation.

I don't care who wins, they literally went to war over memes they sent back and forth on social media.
I just wish america would stay the fuck out of it, it's not our responsibility so why are we spending money we don't have on another country once again instead of fixing our own issues? It's fucking stupid.
Ukraine was talking shit. They instigated this instead of trying to defuse the situation so whatever happens is on them and I dont care.
They basiclly said "what you gonna do? Hit me?" And now they bitching about getting hit and I'm suppose to give a shit? No00 Reply2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I would hope Ukraine does so. To my mind it is much like the start of WW2 in 1939 with Putin and Xi peng having dreams of Imperial grandeur.
I don't see Ukraine has any option but to fight to win. Russia hasn't honored any treaty or agreement they have made. Budapest Memorandum 1994 in which Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons under security guarantees. Minsk 1 & 2 agreements.
Who would buy a slightly used and dishonored Russian peace treaty?
I don't have any military knowledge but it is hard to dislodge troops.
I just found out yesterday there is a website on which ordinary people like myself can contribute to fund drones for Ukraine. On Monday I will validate that with the Ukraine embassy, to be sure to be sure, and contribute every pay day from now.

+1 ythat's a no brainer. of course russia is gonna win... unless we start a world war by getting the nato countries involved. it's not even remotely close so that ukraine "might" have a chance. the only reason that russia isn't just completely steamrolling ukraine is that they have to be able to defend potential western world attacks while attacking ukraine. they can't just focus all their war machinery on one spot. that's the only reason this war isn't long over and won by russia.
it's almost as ridiculous as asking if USA would win or Afghanistan...
00 Reply 2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If they were able to win that would have happened months ago. Russia has been fought to a stalemate after 100 years. Ukraine is fielding more troops right now and has a slow but steady influx of modern weapons and equipment. Russian soldiers have lost the will to fight since most of them are technically speaking mercenaries and we've seen them fighting with weapons like Mosin Nagants from the 19th century and tanks from the 60's. Russia is fucked. Their Phd in desert warfare (Syria) makes for a poor career in Ukraine.
00 Reply375 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. First of all from a humanitarian standpoint there r no winners in war
On a geopolitical standpoint russia is going to win. Question is just how big the victory is going to be. The territory that r currently occupied by Russia will stay Russian there is no way Ukraine is going to get them back. And in winter European support of Ukraine will crumble. So depends on how much more territory russia can conquer until winter. Then they probably gonna do a ceasefire or something

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yRussia has 145+ million people compared to the Ukraine's mere 41 million. Both countries are old with sub-replacement birth rates so bad so long they are actually declining in population, and have relatively few fighting age men.
Both countries are also similar poor, Russia however having 3+ times the population has an insurmountable advantage, so this war only ends by Russian terms.00 Reply8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. As much as I'd like to see the Ukrainians expel the invaders, I do think Russia will win. Russia can't occupy and hold the entire country, but they can seize and annex the areas in which they have support from ethnic Russians.
10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They are both losing, there is no winner in this war. Ukraine is fighting to make Russia lose and Russia clearly fight to make Ukraine and themselves lose.
10 Reply12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It isn't really a war. Russia is not mobilised. Rather it is intervening on behalf of the breakaway region of Ukraine that wants to be independent. The West is simply profiting by selling weapons at high markup.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yUkraine will win because they have a much stronger will to fight than Russia does. A strong will to fight is much more powerful than a material advantage in weapons.
Add to that: Russian Logistics are horrible, their military is incompetent, and their troop morale is near zero. There's zero chance the Russians win.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yIt's still pretty good odds. As long as the ukrainians have loyal allies that can supply them with the proper equipment they will pull out ahead. The Russian people are getting tired of this manure. Their president of their country is very ill. He may not last much longer. I also heard that there is possibility of a coup.
00 ReplyI think we should invade them both in Crimea since they were whiny bitches🇨🇦😂 like was that little bit of land worth the Body count? Were the worms that hungry we felt bad? They were? Well bring free burial back! It’s good for life!

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yTouch and go. I'd guess Russia will take what it can without taking the entire country then claim it's a draw. They seem to want control of the ports, most of them they already have. We'll see.

+1 yRussia doesn't appear to be the winner. They have lost in the court of popular opinion worldwide. They also have lost after showing for a superpower they are more like a paper tiger
00 Reply 1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It won't be a total victory for either. Ukraine isn't about to march into Russia after all, but at least Russia won't win. They might be able to secure a piece if they are lucky.
00 Reply2.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Russia will turn into a 3rd world country by the time they take Ukraine.
10 Reply601 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes, most likely. Hate to say it but the US has no reason to be supplying Ukraines war efforts. Stop printing money and sending it over there and devaluing out Dollars!

As for killing Russians, why wouldn't you kill Russians? I trained to kill Russians in the 90's with Iron/laser guided bombs, cluster munitions, and air-to-air weapons... never got the chance. I wish the Ukrainians the best.
