Is anyone else sick of idiots getting offended "on your behalf" for things that they have no clue about?

This didn't happen on GAG, but I've heard enough about a few power mods on here that I imagine it easily could.

I was on another forum and some whiny idiot was whining about nothing. Typical snowflake BS. One guy responds "Boo hoo, nigga. If you don't like it, don't use the site." He got a warning and suspension from some soy bitch moderator. (No, this wasn't Reddit.)

I explained to this clearly white, clearly liberal idiot that "nigga" is not a, as he called it, "racial slur." It was literally made as the opposite of that. It's a reclamation word, like "queer" is to non-straight people. The whole f*cking point of it is to NOT be offensive through overuse.

I didn't even say "nigga" in the response, by the way. I said "er is not the same word as ga. The Hard R has a different meaning." Guess what happened? He gave me a suspension too. And wrote a private note telling me to "Stop promoting hateful language and slurs that attacks POC's."

I went off on this soy piece of sh*t for trying to be offended "on our behalf." Some White Savior dickhead who doesn't even know what the f*ck he's talking about, but wants to call "nigga" "a hateful racial slur that has a deep history in hurting people of color." God I wanted to slap the sh*t outta this f*cking snowflake. You can see me trying to not get angry right now and not actually curse.

It's so annoying to have these effeminate soy b*tches trying to be offended "on your behalf" like you're a child or something. It's so patronizing and obnoxious. I'm an adult; I don't need people language policing me over a rule that I didn't even break. I don't know this moderator's age, but I'm sure I'm older than him based on how much of a f*ckin' snowflake he is.

Anyone else hate this? When these same kind of Liberal idiots use terms like "LatinX" or "womyn" or "birthing persons" or any of that crap?

It takes a special type of person to be offended over something said towards someone else and being offe ded for the directed person. That counts as projection and involuntary speaking for someone you do not know.

I will be upfront that although your example here is one I have seen before and know the difference between the a and hard er usages, still not a fan of it, but I digress.

I just find it interesting to see people feel the need to give their two cents on something that wasn't their business, much less having the context of the conversation and knowing little to nothing about the people involved.

I'm Casper white with a light tan during the summer, so I stay away from those.

However, from conversations with one of my friends who's a Latina, she'd agree with you. She's talked about being tired of people being offended for her when anyone pokes fun of her Hispanic culture. Most recent example being the recent articles of people wanting to once again cancel Eminem for cultural appropriation in his "My Band" music video where the guys are dressed as Matadors. She she stated, the people likely offended by this are white pussies who need to feel important and close to people as no other Hispanic person she knows felt offended by that video. If anything they had good laughs and loved the costumes.

I’m a white male, so I’ve never had anyone get offended on my behalf. I have had people try to convince me that I’m racist simply by being white and demand that I confess my inherent guilt. This usually involves being told I need to read Robin DiAngelo’s book. I have had family members cut me and my kids off because I won’t go along with the woke nonsense. I’ve been told it’s a good thing I got laid off and, unable to find corporate jobs like I used to have, must find a new career because it makes room for women in my former profession. Interestingly, it’s always leftist middle class women and their soy-boy husbands who treat me this way, never black people or other minorities.

Yeah it's annoying. I've been defended before when people make comments trying to be offensive, but most of the time, they aren't actually threatening just talking out their ass, and I don't care. I don't need defending. I don't need this asshole engaged and riled up "on my behalf". And frankly it's becoming clear they mostly do it because they think I'm weak, so they'll look like assholes if they don't "save" me. It's infantalizing. I hate it. I'm sure most people do.
