Trending & News I mean, to a degree, you should always question anything that gets presented to you as “truth”, or “tradition”, or “this is the way we do things”, etc. But I think one of the basic principles of what makes me “me” is that I’m not looking to be led by anybody.
I let decency be my guiding light. I do what feels morally correct according to my own compass. If it doesn’t make sense to my own soul, I simply reject it.
I don’t let leaders influence me in terms of what’s legal or illegal, that all falls under my moral compass policy. If we’re talking politicians, I don’t pay them much mind, I kind of assume they’re in it for themselves as much as anyone else, but I also don’t believe crazy QAnon type shit that paints these people as evil tyrants looking to control the world, establish a “new world order”, all that silly shit. Politicians are inherently hollow and are 95% facade, but they’re just getting theirs and are really only guilty of making us think they care about our individual outcomes beyond general well-wishes. I don’t look to any of them to “save us” or “make our lives better”, only we can do that for ourselves. I more resent them for the effect they have on a lot of the citizens, who DO believe they’ll serve the purpose of improving our state of affairs. Those people go crazy FOR them, and that has a more direct impact (usually just in the form of annoyance) on me than I feel I get from any politician.
But people need to understand 1984 was a work of fiction, it’s not a real-life cautionary tale. There’s no Big Brother, you aren’t Winston Smith, O’Brien’s voice isn’t going to come from a hidden TV screen on the wall behind a tapestry when you’re trying to lay pipe on Julia on the low, lmfao. RELAX. So I definitely don’t get to the point where I think the government is just some sinister plot against humanity. I wouldn’t say they’re necessarily well-intentioned all the time, but I think we’re letting our imaginations run away with themselves if we view every politician as a potential Joseph Stalin.
I did, and became the leader myself - left my party and dismantled my old organization to make my own. I overthrew the old king to take his place, so to say.
I'm a strategic person so I like to know why I'm doing something. So I will not simply do something unless I know why.
So "leaders" or managers like to direct people but don't even explain why your doing something.
I severely question some, other times I just give a moment of doubt and then sigh for my country

Hell I don't even listen to what they say, I have NEVER watched a president talk in my life time, that be some boring shit.
Be it Obama, Trump or Biden... in my life time, I focus on what they DO not what they say, because they are all liars... all three of them, open their mouths and it is a lie.
I think it is a job requirement to be a politician, can't be honest.
I more just doubt what my leaders say.
“We will be working on doing X”
Mhm, sure.
“This bill will reduce X by 2090”
Oh wow.🤷♂️
Unprovable statements are suspicious
“We are going to start talking about what should be done”
“We gotta do something “
Like actually do something!
(Gives corporations billions of dollars)
I meant help the American people!
I question everyone and everything constantly. Anyone who doesn’t should be sterilized before they breed and make more idiots like themselves. We already have too many as it is.
The 'leaders' have shown themselves over the past two years to be AT BEST idiots. But more than likely are evil pedophiles determined to destroy those they are trying to serve. I not only actively 'question' them, I refuse to abide by their bullshit.
What leaders? I have no leaders. I am occasionally subjected to various taskmasters, most of whom are unworthy of elevation of any sort, but I've never had someone I actually considered a leader.
Yes. Isn't it good to understand instead of just blindly follow?
If you are talking about the country's leaders, I never trust them.
I have no leader. So it can't question him.
Or her.
Or it.
Or whatever.
Everyone answered yes and then there's reality... Just look at what just happened with the coronavirus for instance.
I question everything and so should you. Don’t be a sheep.
I would question whatJoe Biden says all the time
I would if I had leaders
Repubs less so…. Or theyd have seen that Trump’s tax cuts actually fcked us all over.
Always. No leader is above reproach nor ridicule
all the time
