What about you?

This is an interesting question because I have the qualities of a leader but I don't have much of an interest in taking leadership positions at work. I have a very dominant personality and always take charge in romantic relationships. However, I am a reserved person so I dislike having to be in charge of a bunch of people and I prefer to keep to myself and work on my own. It's too much work and responsibility for something I don't care about. But I don't like taking orders from people either. I'm fine with doing work assigned to me if it is in my job description and my boss is respectful when he asks me to do something. Although, I am not passive at all so I would get very angry if my boss was arrogant. I would say I prefer to take a leadership role if it involves something that is really important to me but ideally I would choose to work alone as my own boss. For me having to keep track of multiple people isn't worth it to me, I prefer to only have to worry about my job and I would like to not have to take orders from someone else. I guess I am more suited for independent jobs.
Neither, I'm more of a lone wolf. There's too much responsibility and people asking what to do when you're a leader, after enough time of telling them to get their shit together I get tired of it.
Being a follower is just a dead end, and only good for gaining temporary advantages before shucking that off. Just because they need me doesn't mean I need them.
Following my own interests is best, whether I'm leading, following, operating solo, or just waiting for an opportunity.
Definitely a leader being a lone wolf doing things independently & I'm my own boss so I rely on no one. I have no social media except for GaG. I live off the grid so survival of the fittest. I could go on but you get the just of it ✌️
That's really cool and admirable of you, my friend!
Thank you my friend virtual hug 🤗
Aww@exitseven you're way 2 sweet 💞 same to you ✌️
I lead my own path not someone else's
@exitseven a "leader" requires a group of people being led by someone (the leader). If we go by your definition, everyone is a leader.
@Coulis thank you 💞
Thank you ❣️
I tend to be a leader because I’m passionate and opinionated and very creative so I’m usually delegating and giving instructions instead of following the Leadership of others.

Im a go my own way person. I hate working with other people.
Im never the leader at first. I always get pushed aside and ignored, mostly because people are too stupid to see that im right at first.
So i go my own way. I do things the best way i can think of. Eventually, the group looks at what im doing, realizes im right, and then pronounces me leader. Which i hate lol.
I won't lead shit. I just do what im gonna do, and if other people want to help me and can jump in cuz they see what im doing. But i won't give out directions or orders or expect a single thing from any other person.
This is also how i do it at work. If im in charge of someone below me. I just work. The other person can sit around and do nothing if they want.
But usually, even the lazy people who dont want to work, will work with me. I "lead" by doing and not interacting with you at all unless you volunteer to help.
Only a hubristic Fool requires ABSOLUTE obedience at ALL times.
A 'wise' Leader observes the skills and resources of Those under their leadership and seeks to parlay those skills to the benefit of ALL of One's command.
Done well, WHEN successful, there's glory & praise ENOUGH to go around for all...
A WISE Supervisor takes care of THEIR Employees such that those employees in turn see themselves credited and empowered to BE caring professional Emissaries on behalf of their Employer.
Righteous Pride will carry the day far better than mere fear and self-interest.
Nether and I do my best not to be one other the other. Since elementary school I have been the kind of person who perfectly fine being alone and spent a lot of time through out my life blazing my own trail. If you are fallower be strong enough to be alone. If you are a leader be strong enough to lead yourself. Both are not easy. But both will make you stronger and people tend to be surprised by how strong they already are.
Depends on the activity and how much I'm invested in the outcome.
I've done a lot in my life. I'll let youngers step up and try. If they do well I'll stay out. If it's mission critical and they're going to fuck it up I'll step in and explain as time allows.
I've always been a leader. I was co-captain in Little League, in Cub and Boy Scouts, and in most school band activities. As an adult, I moved swiftly up the ranks of every job to management positions, and I've run multiple businesses.
Whenever there's an emergency or problem, everyone around me looks at me, because the know I'm about to issue instructions. I problem-solve all day long, and I'm long used to putting other people to work to contribute to the solution.
A leader when it's necessary and a follower when it's convenient. I actually have great leadership skills and have been complemented by those that I've led or been observed by. However, because I prefer a simplistic lifestyle now, I lack the motivation to use them if it's not needed. Make no mistake though, I'm always prepared to get in the Driver's seat.
I'm more of a do what I want and let other follow or fuck off sort.
I find leadership annoying and only do it when there's nobody else who's able to do it properly. Frankly I'd just rather not be bothered with people's bullshit.
Still though for whatever reason people look to me during any sort of crisis it's weird.
I am definitely a leader. When you're the boss you have to learn to be a good leader. It's not just barking orders though. If someone has an idea on how to do a job more efficiently, a good leader is open to suggestions. If it works and the same goal is met in less time, he/she just made you more money.
follower, and of course thats a red flag if you are a guy and want to get a girlfriend, some people think or say that guys, men, they basically practice being followers their whole lives, starting in childhood in elementary school, for example, such as raising your hand for permission if you need to use the restroom
Was a leader.. never a follower. I won't follow a leader blindly into battle and thats what and how they set things up in the dept I worked for. They patronized a person who was the equivelant to Barney Fife and Forrest Gump with a sprinkle of Ralph Wiggum. And they promoted him time and time again just for "bringing flowers to a precinct"
Depends on the situation. Do I know what to do? Am I more experienced? Who is best suited to lead in the situation skills-wise?
Not a question of intelligence or trade rather that of innate characteristics
Both actually. I definitely lead at times but am not to proud to follow when I feel someone is better to lead depending on the situation.
I'm a leader. I think people follow my example and listen to my experiences since my leadership style is simple but also different with a unique personality and set of leadership qualities and I'm not trying to tickle my own ego I always want to be self aware without having an inflated ego.
Some aspects of my life I am a follower. Other's, I'm a leader. The area's where I"m a follower are, a part of my private life. The leader aspects are public.
Well, who wants to be labeled as a follower, as if they have no will or drive of their own? You can't lead in every situation, unless you just know everything. I'm sure there are some who just resign themselves to always follow, and I hope that people in that situation can gain more confidence so they're not getting dragged around all the time.
I am neither a follower or a leader, I am more of a rogue element.
I hate being told what to do, but also hate telling others what to do.
I have a saying Lead , follow or get the f out of the way. I can follow the right person, but of they are wishy washy or indecisive. I will take control. I have always been a leader. I do not follow well most of the time.
I believe i can be a leader and a follower
But I'm more of a follower, and if there's no leader i can be assertive and be a leader too
Both, and more.
I can be a leader in areas where I'm competent to lead, and a follower, or a lone wolf in other areas of life.
I can do both, but I will jump in and take control if the current leader is ineffectual. As a leader, I try to enable others to shine.
I've always moved to the beat of my own drum ever since a child, so I am a leader. But I rather not be like that in an intimate relationship.
Lead, Follow, or get out of the way. I will do any and all of these things depending on the situation and value I can add accordingly.
I do prefer to lead when I am in a position to lead well.
Neither. I hate following orders and don't particularly like giving them either. I consider myself an independent soul.
I don't follow nor lead. I just give advice and do my own thing. Being a leader gets stressful as people expect you to do great things. Being a follower gets a bad rep for following the wrong person and that being a leader is encouraged anyway. So I just give advice and do my own thing if I can
As for me I’m a leader when I have to be & I’m a follower when I want to be.
I'm happy to let someone else lead if they desire it, providing they don't screw things up
I have been told I have been a good leader. I do not know if I am a leader or not. I just know that I am not a follower.
You can't be a good leader if you don't know what you are doing. So it's sensible to start by following and learning. I'm eventually a leader, because that's just how it pans out. I don't mind it.
Depends the situation. If I'm ignorant of something or situation then I follow the person who knows better.
Moreover, overall as a individual I lead myself and do my own thing as I see fit.
Neither I follow in no one's footsteps make my own always have and I don't try or want be anyone's leader, we are all capable of leading ourselves sharing knowledge being independent offering assistance to those less capable of course
Both, depending on circumstances. I prefer to follow a competent leader but sometimes I have to lead when things won't get in motion.
I've followed when necessary. I've lead when necessary. You can't lead unless you've followed at one time or another.
I lead myself. that's enough work for me.
The others can do what they want.
I don't have to read a single comment to know 9 of 10 view themselves as leaders or have the capacity to be one.
It depends on the situation. While recording our third album, I took charge. When I was prop master for a stage magician, I made sure everybody and everything was where they had to be in time to do the illusions the right way.
i can switch depending on what the situation demands.
More of a solo act, but I’m happy in either role depending on who’s most qualified for the task
I tend to be more of the leadership role, I am incredibly opinionated, I tend to usually take charge whenever I am giving the chance. Plus I rather be the person who makes the decision not follow them.
Neither. I’m my own person, not someone’s follower or their boss.
I don't really believe in leader/follower, Alpha/Beta stuff. There are situations that I take control of, and there are situations that I let other more qualified people take over. You can't beat life with just one giant stick.
Well at first you follow and then you become a leader
I am not stupid or arrogant.
If I know I am in a situation where someone knows more than me I let them lead. If not I take the lead. Simple as that.
Exactly
I am a reluctant leader. People kind of like turn their eyes towards me like "please direct us 🥺." And I'm like "aw crap fine."
I'm not going to lie to myself but I'm a follower I'm not too keen on being a leader because I'm scared of that
leader, i dont follow people i use my gut instinct.
Usually a leader i become only a follower if i dont care about the process
My mom says I’m a leader, but I see myself as more of a Goat
i know i am a good follower.
i realise an organisation need to have a capable leader and obedient followers in order to be competent.
That's why u definitely want me to work with u.
I'm neither. I don't want to be in any groups where you're either a leader or follower
Since my fiance accuses me of being an alpha female, then I guess I am a leader.
I think we have all followed at one point so that one day we may lead.
I think of my self as a leader more so then a follower.
Definitely a leader! I appear in human form, but I am the Supreme Personality of Godhead!
I am neither. To be honest I'm more of a loner.
@exitseven Your following me aren't you?
@exitseven I'm ok with it.
I am a neither because I am not a follower and humanity is not deserving of my vast knowledge and leadership. I am a Chad MGTOW sigma male who ventures into the darkness alone while the normies make us all suffer😔
I'm not a follower , but I dont consider myself a leader either. Great leaders don't set out to be leaders they set out to make a difference.
I'm neither I feel like a dictator. I undermine the leader and take control
Do you know the difference between a Leader and a Boss?
Neither I am to independent. More like an advisor
Definitely more of a follower.
