Why japan is on US side despite US throwing bombs on heroshima-Nagasaki in Japan?

What exactly would the alternative be? Openly OPPOSE the people who bombed your country until no stone lay atop another? Do you know WHY those two towns, neither of which was very large, were chosen as the targets? Because they were two of the bigger towns LEFT. The campaign of destruction waged on Japan during the war was horrific, and what's worse, necessary- they were fully prepared to pretty much die to the last child to defend their country, and many thought they'd have to; Japanese atrocities during the war put the Nazis and Soviets to shame.

And then the Americans came in, and they DIDN'T implement mass executions. They DIDN'T enslave the population. They didn't even kill Hirohito. They didn't even complain when, decades later, the Japanese government tried to stop teaching about the Pearl Harbor attack in their schools (you know who DID complain? The surviving pilots who carried the attack out!). The common people of Japan were WAY better off under US-guided government than they had been under their own leadership- in some ways, better off than American people of Japanese ancestry had been during the war, even.

After World War one, the US pretty much left Germany alone, to be feasted upon by the European powers that defeated it (Woodrow Wilson was a damned idiot), and was DETERMINED not to have the same mistake happen again (and they didn't, at least in the part of Germany they controlled). After that same war, they also seriously underplayed Japan's contribution (which admittedly wasn't all that large, but they WERE on our side), and all the allies pretty much ignored them when it came time to divvy up seized German territory.

But one of the things the Japanese have traditionally been VERY good at is learning from the success of others- before the second World War, they were a regional power at best; now they're one of the biggest and strongest economies in the world.

Because we were very humane with them under McArthur as Military Governor. They ended up loving him. There were no firing squads and we did not execute Hiro Hito (Their emperor, since you learned nothing in public school). And we rebuilt their country under the Marshall Plan (public school, again) and introduced The Deming System of Profound Knowledge to Japan who learned from it to outperform the US for decades.

Japan was annihilated by us ands then we made them the second largest economy in the world.

Second, the USA did not rebuild Japan. The Americans pulled out of Japan on April 28th 1952. Feel free to look that up. It has been a very long time since 1952. To credit the USA with all that we have accomplished since then is really astounding. When the USA got involved in the Korean war in the 1950's, Japan provided a lot of materal and supplies to the US military and got paid well for it. This helped our reconstruction efforts. I live in Tokyo, which was virtually destroyed in WW2, and every building in the city was built by Japanese companies, by Japanese people.

If you were to remove every piece of technology in the USA thst has Japanese technology in it, you would literally be without any technology at all, and your society would revert to the 19th century.

Because they respect someone who could kick their ass and Japan had it coming for a while now. Not just WWII, but what they did to Korea as well. Japan got humbled real quickly. And now, since then, they've become one of the world's largest economies working WITH the US, instead of against us.

Japan is a US vassal state since 1945, so it accepts its master's narratives as a vassal is expected to do. And I suspect even a slightly anti-US leadership would be sabotaged in Japan by the US intelligence.
