About how many, or what percentage of, people do you know in real life that are Progressives/SJW's/Woke?

Only 6% (at the highest measurements) of Americans are Progressive/Woke. Yet on certain parts of the internet, like Twitter and Reddit, they seem like they make up the majority of Americans/Westerners, thus making the US and Western world look extremely idiotic by comparison.

Back in the US, I lived in probably the wokest/sh*ttiest part of the entire East Coast, Philadelphia. They have an actual little "gayborhood" part in that filthy sh*thole of a town. And I'm not even against homosexuality/queerness. I'm against OBNOXIOUS homosexuality/queerness. Like rainbow flags and Gay Pride parades.

Point is, LOTS of people from that piece of sh*t town were woke and Progressive. Probably almost as much as Los Angeles. Regardless though, most of Philly is still 'hood and full of ghetto-ass people, most of whom are black (and gayness is very much NOT accepted in the black community, by large).

So it's almost contradictory that such a city would claim to be "inclusive" when it's also quite literally the most hostile, cruel, brutal city in America. The "rapes happen in the alleyway and people shrug and keep walking" kind of town.

So, if I had to put a percentage to the people I knew in real life who were woke (not "liberal" or "Democratic," but FAR LEFT), I'd say... About 10%, yeah. And they were mainly just grad school classmates and "friends of friends" I genuinely didn't like. Not too much more than the real number, but still a lot of assholes.

Online, people want to play 21 questions and one of the top 5 is always are you left/right liberal/conservative democrat/republican lgbt supporting/gunlover/feminist/etc? I already don’t play that. Anyone who is too focused on political stuff is already seconds away from getting dropped. I dont support the majority of that shit and i stray far from people who constantly talk about that stuff. I also stray far from idiots who say shit like “I’ve never dated a black/white/Asian/hispanic girl, what are y'all like”. And i stray from people who say dumbshit like woke. I don’t support potheads either, yet I’m quite chill like one. I am on another planet when it comes to all the political bullshit and I prefer to keep it that way. Don’t say no rude shit to me and I won’d say rude shit to you. I’m not the curious type so i dont really question to care what people do and don’t support as long as they don’t feel the need to run around shouting it to me and the whole world. My family and I never talked poltics until this last presidential vote and I can see why. They are on a diff boat from me. I’m gonna let em float away as I flutter in peace. I just dont want none of the shits and giggles brought around me. I prefer to hang with people like myself for a reason. Fck pickin a side and fck callin people woke or homophobic for having a different perspective. And to answer the question, I live in a college town but I dont really hear much political talk in person. I’ll see Trump stickers and confederate flags or trucks or Biden signs in ppls yards. But I dont see rainbow shit and i thankfully dont have to hear about guns although its clear most are packin. Anyways, Its all foreign to me

I personally don't know anyone like that, thankfully. I'm friends with people of different political beliefs but no one who's an extremist. Stay away from me if you're far left or far right.

People that I know, personally? Probably 0%, because I find people at either extreme to be not only incredibly annoying, but also completely out of touch with reality. So I tend not to associate with them.

Being a liberal is fine. Being conservative is fine. I don't begrudge either side for supporting policies that benefit them. It's the people on the extreme ends of the spectrum, that I have a problem with. The people who try and force their beliefs on absolutely everyone, and think you're the enemy for not agreeing with them.

I dislike people who think that all conservatives are their enemy, or all liberals are their enemy, just because they think differently. I've always been more towards the center, and believe that compromise, and working together, are the best way forward.

I agree with you. I rarely ever see far right people though, cause they tend to be literal, *actual* Nazis. Far left people outnumber them greatly, even if they're only 6% of the US.

I dated a "woke/SJW" woman.. I live in super woke/Liberal Chicago where the city makes the whole state Blue basically.. I liked her except for some reason Liberals tend to just spout their political views out of nowhere even when the conversation didn't call for it.. Mainly because they feel like it gives them the moral upper hand.. But I've and ran into... A lot.. And yeah it's mostly just young "White" woman and anybody who hangs out with them all throughout their 20s. Of course living in Chicago some of the older people are woke also.

So true. I accidentally dated a feminist in the past, and broke up with her the next day after finding out. Messed up part is, Emma had a personal 8 body for me, and the sex was AMAZING! But my integrity was more important. I was 26 at the time, and she was 20, so she was a young idiot new to college and woke culture at the time, and she was already too indoctrinated to turn back now.

In all my years of Living in California I don't see any like that really, when I lived in NorCal they had gays who were over the top and very bold and annoying. But when I moved to SoCal they exist I just don't see them like that and if they all are hard-core sjws they don't voice the craziness in public. Perhaps they know what they're saying is crazy so they wait to get on the internet to spew it.

But like the way SJW's & Antifa groups up in Texas are I have never once seen that here.

Interesting question. I like comparing the online world to the real world. I believe I know two people from my high school who are woke. But I closed my Facebook account years ago so I don't know where they are now. Other than those two, I can't think of anyone. Of course there could be some who are hiding it, but it seems like woke people don't try hiding it.

I know a lot of people. I can only think of one Social Justice Warrior. And when it comes to people not wanting to identify with a particular gender, I only KNOW OF one person. Happens to be the daughter of the SJW... LOL! The media makes it sound like it is this large percentage of the population that wants to cross dress or identify as another gender, or get a sex change operation. It really is a low percentage.

Good point, lol. My family, it seems half. Most of the highly educated managerial/business types I deal with have to spout off about diversity as part of every presentation and interaction, like praying to Mecca five times a day or something. Easily half of them are true believers and the others are closeted. The working class people I live with are mostly non-white, but ironically most are not woke. So while not that many people are close to me, even among acquaintances it’s about half.
