What do you think of Gypsies and the Bulgarian Bride Market? How do people in Eastern Europe feel about them? Are they very hated by other people?

I mean to be fair they are beautiful classy feminine women taught to be traditional and I would much prefer them over the western “strong and independent” masculine women that want to smash the “patriarchy” by leading society and giving men attitude instead of birthing and raising children like they were designed to do.

So for me I’m kinda like “well at least there’s a pool of women that actually are marriageable there, that I couldn’t find in many other places.”

Granted the Bride Market is only open to other Gypsie men but I’d still want to visit just to see what happens.

But on the other hand I still don’t think money should be involved. Even if the whole process does tend to be selective and consensual, its better to give things more time.

However it was interesting to note that this wasn’t an event that brought in creepy old men and most of the guys were actually younger and from within their own culture.

So I guess they are socially isolated from the rest of society, which is why its managed to persist for so long.

And so for that reason, I almost feel as though the reason why there’s an unwillingness to embrace change, is because its worked out for most of them all these years.

Its not the best model of doing things in my opinion, but it surely is what they’re used to.
