Do you find it ironic that the state that is rated dead last for women's equality is also the second happiest state in the nation?

There are studies every year that rate US states based on how they measure up to the feminist standard of gender equality for women. One of the best known of those studies is conducted by Wallethub.

There are also studies that rank the states from highest to lowest in terms of the happiness of their residents. One such study is the annual World Population Review. And again, results year over year are consistent, the same states appearing at the top and bottom of the list.

The interesting thing is how vastly different the results are between the two lists. One would think, based on the modern feminist narrative, that gender equality for half of the population would have a huge impact on the happiness rating of a state. And yet the state that is ranked dead last in equality for women (Utah) year after year is the second happiest state in the union. Idaho, which is 3rd from last in women's equality is the 6th happiest state. I guess that explains why Californians left their state in droves to move to Idaho in recent years. So many, in fact, that there has been a huge backlash among Idahoans about so many Californians moving in.

There are other examples... Nebraska and North Dakota, both in the bottom half of the rankings in terms of women's equality, are also among the top 10 happiest states. In fact, of the top 10 states in terms of women's equality, only 2 are on the top 10 list of happiest states, and those are Hawaii and California, both of which obviously have other important things going for them that boost the happiness levels of their residents and offset other negative factors.

It begs the question... is the feminist standard for gender equality really what makes women happy? Or is there a better way?
