accurate enough... it is also about responsibility, introspection and accountability

being too harsh on oneself can turn very damaging as well

but yes... blaming others all the time is what creates most of the weak men...

this throws into question General Patton though... he was hard on his men, not sure how hard he was on himself. he'd be perceived as great, at least in relieving the soldiers in the Battle of the Bulge.

If I'm hard against myself, then I have a moral right to 'demand' the same in others.

Only because some ancient Chinese guy often babbled populistic stuff does not make him ''right'' by default.
