I don’t understand why anybody would want an enormous house?

The largest one I ever lived in was 4500 ft.² although it was a rental and a basement, but it was not finished. And there were five of us in total. That was plenty big. I don’t know why you would want anything bigger than that for that number of people. So when these super rich people buy these enormous houses…. I guess it’s a way to show that they’re better than you. Even if I had that kind of money, I would spent it for a place on the beach. I don’t need crazy amounts of space.

When I'm finally able to afford my own apartment, I'm going to put everything in the bedroom, and have dining room and living room (open concept) completely empty. At that point, I think I'll take up dancing (to celebrate how much space I finally have). But even though I hate still living crammed in one room in a shared apartment, having a whole house though sounds spooky for just one or two people.
