For the most part, yes. There are some universities that are not filled with Leftist lunatics, but as more and more people who make Bernie look like Thomas Sowell in comparison end up deciding who the next generation of Ph. D.'s will be, it will become even more prevalent. It is sad because otherwise intelligent people end up brainwashed into believing utter nonsense.
Yes, it is. Here are a couple of examples:

Yes. My wife for example is training to be a social worker. About half of their assignments are based on gender, toxic masculinity, all that kind of stuff.
If she speaks against this in any way, the lecturers shut her down and give her low marks. When she went for the first she had to do English alongside it, and the (male) English teacher warned her that they’d do this. He said that they don’t want right wingers, or anyone who disagrees with their sometimes far-left ideas to pass. Told her to write like a leftist to get better marks.
One lecturer was teaching about how gender is a social construct, and she went on to speak about the case of David Reimer. I’ll tell you the true story first.
He and his twin brother were circumcised, but his was botched, permanently damaging his penis.
His parents, desperate to figure out how to help him, remembered hearing a psychologist named John Money speaking about how gender is a social construct, and that it’s entirely learned rather than being biological. He believed that if a boy was raised as a girl, he’d live as a girl and vice versa.
It’s important to note that this is the guy who invented this whole thing, this is where it all comes from.
They contacted him seeking help, and he took the opportunity to prove his theory. This was perfect to him because he had a twin brother. They changed the boy’s name to Brenda, raised him as a girl, and his brother as a boy.
It didn’t work. “Brenda” still acted like a typical boy, and at around 13 began to feel like he was going crazy. He was suicidal. At this point his parents told him the truth, and he told them that he wanted to just be a boy and not to see John Money again.
Eventually because the whole thing fucked with his head so much, as an adult he killed himself. John Money’s experiment was a failure, and it led to Bruce’s suicide.
My wife’s lecturer however told the class that the experiment was a success and that “Brenda” lived happily ever after as a woman. When my wife told the truth she went silent and changed the subject.
That’s the level to which they’re willing to go, they’ll blatantly lie to brainwash the students.
Absolutely. Don't think you can tech in college without being left wing and even if you are left wing you get attacked if your not left wing enough. I mean they want to ban Shakespeare

I never witness any when going through school or when teaching. It all depends on the location and the content… If you study in a communist enclave, then you will be surrounded by communists. If you study topics that appeal to communists, then you will again be surrounded with communists. Communist don’t tend to like reality, so if you study any field of science/math or engineering, you probably will never encounter a communist. If you study the arts or social sciences, then the population of communists will climb.
Usually, but not always... depends on the school, if it is public, private, religious, etc... Some religious schools just teach knowledge and have no indoctrination. Others do have conservative teachings that are anti left, so the left would say they are indoctrinating on that side.
The majority I would say are, they don't want to hear idea's that don't agree with their own.
Yes, but public elementary and high schools are actually worse. My kids in college are relieved to be out of the political environment that took over their primary schools. We even moved to a private school, but it's there too. Some universities are worse than others, but there are still some good ones out there.
You have to look really hard to find a good school that won’t train your children to hate you. The problem is the humanities departments of most universities qualified to certify new teachers are so utterly dominated by leftist propaganda spouting professors that even if you live in a conservative area, the teachers unions have forced every state to adopt union approved criteria for their permission to teach which includes more years of indoctrination, political interviews as Project Veritas has recently exposed, and constant peer supervision and see something say something campaigns to get fellow faculty members who notice conservative ideas being discussed even negatively to report them to HR. You can think and say whatever you want it’s a free country, but if you want to remain employed don’t let the education bureaucracy’s KGB catch you speaking or even thinking against the party.
@Sixgunsound One of my kids is at a private university that openly advertises their conservative views. Another is in a school in the deep South where most of the population (kids and adults) are conservative. There's always a teacher or two spewing their latest nonsense, but the students at those schools just laugh at the crazies.
I’m happy that you found a good place for your kids to go, I know that I will never be that lucky in New York.
@Sixgunsound Thank you. It was a big concern and I am so pleased with their universities. I really didn't believe there were any universities that were not ruined by the left's agenda. I'm thankful to say I was wrong.
Can you DM me which one? My oldest daughter wants to be a vet and I am not particularly confident about the indoctrination she’s going to get instead of any scientific training. The reality of the situation is that the utterly leftist dominated institutions of lower learning in this country care more about political science than hard science, and that is being reflected by graduates of professional programs having similar skill sets to graduates of bachelors programs in previous decades.
More most degrees YES it is even sneaking into the STEM Fields, it is so bad in Australia that they have reduced the entry qualifications for women in the STEM Fields, It is no wonder that women 'graduating' in them are being considered to be 'second' tier by employers and those employers employees.
I don't agree with a lot of the views the liberals shared but University taught me to be a gracious and cooperative person and I learned how to speak and right and behave cause before university I acted like somebody who was foolish and angry. The same people who used to hate me now like me because of the social and tolerance lessons I learned from school.
Everybody Wants to get indoctrinated by something because of 1 guy That found an idiot Stick and went around hitting Everybody and we were evolved from none other than the idiot That hit himself with the idiot stick that same Stick possesses the power to Turn people into idiots.
But are you surprised? Reading past questions/comments on gag over the years I get a feeling the right is very anti-education. Pretty much everything kids are taught in school gets dismissed as brainwashing. When kids leave school not knowing how many sides a triangles got because their parents have told them their teacher is a liar, you can't blame them for not wanting to further their education. Ultimately this leads to more of the left taking up teaching.
HAHAHA, left is not educational, western institution haven't made any progress in fundamental sciences and their string theory is too absurd. People rely too much on computers (simulation and modelling) write esoteric research which cannot be verified. Even a new age believer like rupert sheldrake makes of you. Now this is the cream of institutions.
Coming to pseudo sciences like social, ecomonic, political, psycology, sociology,... sciences, it is a disgrace for science to call it science. It indoctronate kids to be next antifa. There is nothing scientific about it.
I am surpiresd that even after all this corruption they were able to somehow launch hubble space telescope after 20 odd years :D...
If you don’t have a Che or Mao flag or a BLM flag or a LGBTQIA’s flag in your office you are unlikely to get tenure in the US no matter what your students scores are. US education is more about political compliance than inquiry, and social (ist) emotional learning is a thinly veiled attempt at anti white anti male indoctrination at the public expense. It is worse at the university level because students are paying customers so the universities have a business justification to shovel shyte into the heads of their students as they see fit because that is what “they” (the students who are paying tuition) want. Public school teachers are in many cases liars, as they seek to inflate America’s role in world affairs, or more recently denigrate it. What the US government teaches about its treatment of Native Americans is generally flat out lies, even about events of the 1970’s and 1980’s. Professors frequently discriminate and conservative students, failing them for the slightest excuse while privileging liberal students of lesser ability because of political compatibility. The amount of discretion that American professors have over the futures and tuition accounts (via being forced to repeat courses) is scandalous. US conservatives aren’t anti education, we just want the truth taught instead of leftist propaganda talking points and accountability for people in positions of trust and authority over vulnerable populations that are training our children to hate us. That’s really not that much of an ask, is it?
When getting a teaching degree there were required "diversity" courses that pretty much say "White people bad, men bad, Asians bad, give Black students more time on tests and let them use notes on tests."
I'm going to be honest, as a college student, it's at least moderately biased towards leftist views. I believe most of the professors I've had are registered Dems, but so was I before attending college.
It is rife with "exdoctrination," which is to say it alerts people to the fact that the world is diverse and yet not necessarily scary. Indoctrination would be what right wingers do, which is to tell everyone to hoard ammo in case someone from further away than your village border ever comes to take your stuff.
I think it depends on your field of study, but yes.
I started with a social science and moved to STEM (maths). My first choice was a mistake.
I'm interested to hear from those who don't admit to this. It absolutely is, I've gone to five different universities and they're all like this, in every department.
What I don't get about the right is that just because they're TOO STUPID to get in to college, they automatically think that it's all about "indoctrinating by the left", when really, the right is being indoctrinated by their own people, to HATE the left
I'm a conservative, and I have two Master's degrees, including an MBA. This isn't an exception to the rule, and most business/ finance majors/ departments are more centrist/ right-leaning. The problem with modern education is that Leftists actually think that lower grade standards and a welcoming (coddling) environment makes them smart...
I teach at a local college and I am a supporter of President Trump's America First policies. I feel like I have a target on my back most of the time.
It has been like that since 1650ish from Enlightenment. 💩 got crazy 1790 to Present
Yes. Most of university teachers are left-wing/liberal. In humanistic field even 80% of American academic teachers have left wing/liberal views.
Despite popular belief it’s not, I’ve been in college for 3 years and have barely heard anything about leftist politics unless there’s a class for it, the only way someone would be indoctrinated is if they went out of their way to feel “Indoctrinated”
Yeah. It's like dealing with a boss that you know is an idiot. You just have to do the dance, tell him what he wants to hear while there.
Pass the glass, don't swallow the bulls***.

Not just higher education. Every single level of education.
Well liberals are more likely to be teachers, and vice versa. All the right can do is ban stuff.
its rife with education, facts and critical thought. Something that the left are severely lacking
You bet your pronouns it is!
In my country it's the opposite.
Leftist for sure
more than you know
