US is the country that treats them worst in the world. Black people can have more respect even in Africa, Turkey, middle east countries... Why did they live there for centuries? Where they were always treated worse than dogs. Police violence, government bad intentions, fucking racist white supremacists etc. (I am white european by the way)
1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The U. S. was the land of opportunity for everybody for many years. There's been many successful black people. As far as the unsuccessful, you could ask the same question of poor white people. Everybody has ancestors who came from elsewhere.
And for most people it's a lot safer to try and deal with what you know than to go into a totally unknown situation. For example, ILLEGAL black immigrants from other parts of Africa were getting killed by Black people in South Africa for stealing jobs/businesses. Most Africans don't consider U. S. black people to be the same as themselves -- although in Africa people aren't as focused on race either... sort of like in the U. S. white people didn't sit around talking about being white much.
Anyhow, the grass isn't greener just because you hop across some water.

The entire problem with the way black people are treated is that they are kept in poverty. And yes white people are also kept in poverty - that's the whole trick for keeping white people in poverty: just remind poor white people that any proposal to help them out of poverty might also be used to help black people out of poverty, and they will stampede to the polls to vote against it.

Besides they just didn't move there because they wanted to. Their ancestors were taken from the African continent and forced to move to the US. I'm sure you know that, right?
Plus, moving to another country is expensive and you need a lot of paperwork. The process is long and hard.
And no, as a black person I can assure you that black people are not disrespected in the US only.

Asker+1 yYour ancestors could immigare back in a mass way 50-60 years ago. But thanks to your struggle you created lots of legends worldwide such as MLK, Malcolm X, 2pac etc. If they were Africans, no one would know them. However, if you come to Turkey, you will see that we respect black people so much. There are millions of Africans who lives well here

I'm not talking about myself, I'm talking about black people from the United States since you asked about them. I'm not American.
I see that you've never heard about slavery in the US. Black American's ancestors didn't immigrate. They were FORCED to go the US. It's completely different. They didn't go the US because they wanted to.
I guess that the Africans who live in Turkey are not immigratans, they're refugees. And again that's also different. - +1 y
*immigrants
Asker+1 yI know it very well and better than you. I talked about 1950s, 1960s... They were free then and could immigrate much more easily.
Asker+1 yEven in this 2022, a black American could live better in Turkey than US
- +1 y
It seems that you don't. You believe that they are immigrants, when the US is their country.
No they weren't free. Have you heard about the Civil Rights Movement? If you didn't, you should look it up
And like many people said, the US is their country and they have the right to live in their nation.
Asker+1 yMan, i didn't know, how could i know the whole life of Malcolm X? Of course i know everything about them. But if "my country" government, cops, people treated me that poorly, i would say fuck that country it is not my country anymore. And start a mass immigrant. Because all my ancestors did it in my history, that's why we had lots of powerful governments and societies.

I'm not talking about Malcom X, I'm talking about the Civil Rights Movement.
Again, moving to another country is not easy. And once again, black Americans have the right of living in their country.
Anyways, I'm done. You don't want to understand the history of black people in the US. There are a lot of articles and books about this topic. Perhaps you can read them, since you don't want to listen to me.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yBlack people are treated very badly in turkey and the middle east as are most non turks and non arabs. Historically turks and arabs were the biggest enslavers of Africans and would castrate black male slaves. The reason there is such a large population of African Americans in America is because conditions existed for then to thrive. All non turk and arab minorities in the middle east have declined thats Kurds, costs, Jews, Christians, Armenians etc. Kurds are persecuted in Turkey today and in the middle east Africans are only allowed to work there not immigrate and have to bring their own body bag.

Asker+1 yThat's a fucking lie. Have you ever seen a Turkish cop killed a black person or arrested them for no reason? No. In Istanbul there are millions of blacks in the streets, they are very happy. Also in the touristic places, there are millions of kurds, i worked with them. We were good
Opinion Owner+1 yTurkey is a very racist country. Kurds are oppressed in Turkey, shot by the police all the time. Surrender monkey kemal attaturk wanted a turk only state hence the millions of dead Kurt's and Armenians.
Asker+1 yThen why in my City there are a million kurds, and most of them are gang members? If we killed those fuckers, our cities would be much clearer. If you love those peasants, then take them to your country. I am good with good kurds, but unfortunately there are lots of bad and gang members and dirty peasant kurds

You have issues with anyone you consider non-"White".
10 Reply They are free to travel. That said, they are treated well in America and would be treated very poorly in many other countries. They are spoiled. It would be great for them to do some international traveling though so they could realize how good they have it in America.

+1 yProbably because they belong in America. They're every bit American as I am and have just as much a right to bitch about this country as the next person. The vast majority of them want exactly what I want or any other American wants. Polls actually show that. The problem is, the virtue signaling left and corrupt media doesn't portray it that way. They love to create division among people to give them power. For years they've been doing the. "good vs evil" b. s.

Have you been to the United States ever?
Have you been to Africa?
I'll assume this is a joke question because if it's not then you're just unbelievably stupid

10 ReplyBy that logic, everyone should "go home" then. Including all the Europeans migrating back to central Africa.

Asker+1 yWhat did you do for your fellow black brothers in America?
Riiiggghhhttt. Yes, we know this by the prevalence of black millionaires and billionaires in Saudi Arabia and Turkey and Syria? Or by their having a black President / Premier?

+1 yYou sound stupid, For starters there is a lot that goes into emigrating somewhere and it’s not as simple as just hopping to the next Country and generations have been here for years, you expect black people to just say the hell with their families.

Isn’t that what thousands of Mexicans and Guatemalans do every day?

I would hope you know the difference between legal and illegal emigration
