Charles Milles Manson is an American criminal and founder of the "Manson Family" cult. He is one of the most popular icons in criminal history. Manson and his followers shot and stabbed seven people to death in two nights to start an interracial war in August 1969. Manson was convicted of seven first-degree murders in 1971 for ordering and planning the murders, although he did not directly commit the murders.

After his mother went to prison at a young age, he started to make a living by stealing and living on the streets. He was also arrested at the age of 18. He was placed in a reformatory after he was sexually abused by a ward friend with a knife threat. He was released on parole in 1954. Giving fake checks, pimping, drugs, etc. He was in and out of jail many times for crimes. After his final eviction in 1967, he settled down on a farm in Los Angeles, forming a "family" with the people he gathered around him. Five of his followers, guided by the "theories" he developed on this farm, killed Roman Polanski's pregnant wife Sharon Tate, Abigail Folger, Polish actress Wojciech Frykowski, men's hairdresser Jay Sebring and a high school graduate Steven Parent in Los Angeles.

The next night, this time with Manson, the group killed and dismembered the Labianca couple in the same way. Manson and four of his friends were arrested after a fan woman bragged about the murders they had committed when she was arrested for a different crime. Although they were sentenced to death, their sentences were commuted to life imprisonment by the California Supreme Court because of the abolition of the death penalty.

Yeah, I was a kid when they did all that stuff. Manson was a cult leader that was able to convinced people to kill for his crazy theory. He thought that The Beatles were speaking to HIM through the "White Album".
The message he got was that he was to initate a race war..."Helter Skelter" and then take "the family" and hide in the desert only to re-emerge as the new leaders after most of the people had all killed each other off. DELUXE nut job
