Of course you can. A lot of Germans loved Germany but hated the Nazis. Many became spies for the Allies and were executed for treason as a result.
I love England but I can't think of an English government I've loved in my lifetime. I live in South Africa and I love the country but the ANC is more corrupt than the Republican Party
Didn't one of the early presidents say something about a tree of patriotism needing to be fed with it's people's blood periodically?
The problem these days is the elders have been usurped by children who are painfully naïve about how life really works. Especially in Westernised nations. The result is the self-righteous "woke" bullshit that requires you to walk round in a coma while you try to work out if you're a boy or a girl.
The only positive thing about this bullshit is they award themselves Darwin Awards by taking their fucked up genes out of the breeding pool.
Yes, it is possible to love your country and hate your government. It is possible to be proud of your country's culture, history, and people, while also being critical of the actions or policies of the government. It is important to recognize that the government and the country are separate entities, and it is possible to have mixed feelings about them.
It is also important to remember that it is okay to criticize the government and to work toward positive change. In a democracy, citizens have the right to express their opinions and to work towards creating a government that better serves their needs and values. It is possible to love your country and still want to see it improve and evolve.
I served my Country and major reason was because I believe in freedom and the right to express opinions. Does that mean I agree with all the decisions the government makes, no. I unfortunately feel like we have to take some responsibility and ownership when it comes to the issues we face in America. People have gotten lazy and don't put in the effort to to look at the facts when it comes to decision time. They see one commercial hear one add on the radio that is meant to emotionally charge them up and that's it mind made up won't hear anything else. Not even considering their Data has been sold and now they are being targeted based on that data with something that is designed to have a higher chance of influencing them based on emotion vs logic. We have to do our part and find ways to collect facts quickly and verify them. we have to stop rewarding bad behavior, stop allowing all the negative to infiltrate and divide us. Its time to evolve and and use our brains to come up with better solutions
the land, the history, the language, the culture, the people - none of that is the people who have just so happened to end up ruling the country, that is what makes the country and they shouldn't be judged together
"Hate" is a very strong word.
I detest the current administration.

I had all governments. So by that logic I don’t love any country.
both parties are equally trash in the United States. I wish the libertarian party were stronger because I think that would be the best party to support beyond the anarchist one which doesn’t exist. As far as the normal America people the fact I can say what the hell I want our government is probably the best in the world. But then again I hate all governments.
I just don't hate anybody... that's a waste of soul
government, nation, people and land... those are all different things as well
no, none of these are separate... but they are not the same things
can't have one without the other
I love my country, hate the stupid piece of shit government.
Yes, of course. A country is much more than the government, especially when the elite that dominate the government holds much of the population in contempt.
People hate admitting things like this. It makes them feel dirty.
I know.
Yes. I love America but view the government as the enemy.
People who are tribal over a piece of crust on earth are dumb as hell that's all I know.
Yes. You can also love your system of government and yet despise the people currently and/or previously running it.
Yes, I'm proud to be American but am dissatisfied with the government and SCOTUS rn
I love my country - I hate the evil demon rats running it!
Yes, I love the USA, but hate the current Biden administration.
That is what I hv in heart. So it is possible because I hate ma Fukien government
You can love your country and still be critical
