Back in my day lol it was always the Tv πΊ now itβs grown Into social media overshadow it now.
The lack of attention and how gen z is easily distracted. Exemple: I'm a senior in HS and a lot of teenagers my age don't pay attention in class and take it for granted, they're either on their phone, have airpods in their ears, on their laptop. Also what I find supper disrespectful is when student asks a question to the teacher and the student has airpods in their ears, like stop over stimulating your hearing. You'll go deaf.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI think an issue in the millennial generation is drinking alcohol. There is this fixation when it comes to drinking and a good portion of my friends have all become alcoholics whether they know it or not.
I have gone to get together with strangers who are millennials and every single one of them is concerned with drinking. Like they cannot be at a social setting without drinking/nursing a drink in their hand.
I have met people who would peer pressure me into drinking. I just hate this huge fascination with it. There is this norm applied to consuming alcohol that when you don't want to be a part of that norm people assume you are the one with the problem.
"Oh you don't want to drink? Are you an alcoholic?" It's like I'm the alcoholic when you see people can't even function without drinking. It's annoying.
When you really think about it, what does alcohol even give you other than hurt your health. I used to think drinking was cool when I turned 21. But then I grew out of it.
10 Reply3.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. For been progressive I guess. Old people get shocked by the fact that the younger generation don't agree with old views which... just baffles me that they never expected that to be the case and then they try to change our minds without once again expecting we would obviously just resist that.

I think sometimes the freedom that you all have that the older generation has built. Makes it concerning for the future creating these open spaces that the older generation didnβt have makes it semi-hard to understand. A lot of the fears and thoughts the other side of it is you do change your mind a lot so you donβt actually have a concrete plan of how youβre going to make a living and that is concerning for them because at the end of the day they want you to be able to take care of yourself, and not just have frivolous wims itβs a tough world

+1 yOne chart says im Gen Y but this new one says im Gen Z so lmao I don't know where to begin. All i know is a lot of the parents are feeling entitled to their childrens checks for some reason. They feel if they raised you then you owe them once you get your own money

@MCheetah oh well i googled something that showed the Mil ending year and Gen Z starting year to be way different. But in this case im a Millenial
- +1 y
Correction 1995 and beyond are consider Gen Z to me
- +1 y
@Justneedtokno
That's factually wrong, but you can consider those to be Gen Z. - +1 y
Again, I said TO ME @MCheetah having an actual conversation with a 25-year-old and its only text message is very annoying. Some of the things in nuances tand itβs only text message is very annoying some of the things in nuances that I grew up with an understanding of they would never understand so anything past 1995, 1996 are not millennials
- +1 y
@mcheetah see she saw the same chart as me im assuming.
- +1 y
@Justneedtokno
You said "correction" though, as if I was wrong, when I'm not. I'm not the one who made up the breakoff year; that's what the actual generation is; Millennials were born between 1982 to 1997, and they all go in 15 year cycles. I don't like someone telling me "correction" as if what I said was incorrect when it's not.

@DizzyDesii
Not ever chart is consistent; not even the one I just used, but the general consensus is 1982 when Millennials started (sometimes, '81) to 1996 (sometimes '97.)
I'm not even saying that's how I would think of it, cause I wouldn't have considered anyone pre-85 to be a "Millennial" and would've considered 1999 to be the start of the Zoomers. That would've been what I believed was it, but the actual information out there says what I originally posted. - +1 y
@MCheetah it doesnβt really matter whoβs right and wrong in the situation besides the charts that whoever made. Itβs more about the experiences and understanding you have an maturity level. And weβre talking about the average person of that time they should know certain things, especially living in the same area or all the demographics that goes along with it.

Oh fuck off we're one year apart. 1995 and before is millennial. It literally says so if you google it.

Hey I was in your shoes I was born between generations, Baby Boomers and Gen X.
I mostly get called a Boomer more, because how I talk and live. But technically I am a Gen X. I was one of the first batches of Gen X - +1 y
@humanearth yes baby boomers I use to hear about them too
+1 yBack in the late 1970s and though out the 1980s our parents complained about about this.
Back then Womens & Mens Hairs bands looked alike. They claimed you couldn't tell who was a girl and who was boy.

Metallix was an all girl band
Here is what Poison looked like back in the day (They kinda look like girls)
Here is a band that started out good Stryper. They are all men
Here is Vixen an all girl band See they all kinda look like one gender
10 ReplyWhat people complain about is an issue: Woke culture and the intentional spread of hate and political division in society (and it is an issue, but not the main one.)
The actual issue: Hyper-corruption in the Western world with the three branches of modern indoctrination: Hollywood, the mainstream media, and Washington, along with the New World Order players in the Chinese Communist Party, the World Economic Forum, and all the others controlling Joe Biden right now, to slowly dominate the entire globe.

+1 yThe average gen z has a shorter attention span than a goldfish. YouTube created shorts and pundits created sound bytes because if it's longer than a few seconds they can't handle it. If it takes them away from a screen too long they can't handle it. And don't get me started on work ethic or support for suicidal socialism.
