Is there more of a "sisterhood" amongst women than there is a "brotherhood" amongst men?

I was leaning hard towards brotherhood reading the title as we are absolutely the more inclusive sex. And it is easy to back up that men do not struggle in large groups whereas women have much lower optimal sizes of friendship. Doesn't make it mean less, but it does mean a guy is more likely to be accepted by a guy than a girl is to be accepted by a girl.

Aaaand then I read your share-similar traits/thoughts/etc explanation and am now firmly in the sisterhood column. Men are for better or worse more frequently divergent in our interests.

Depending on the topic, women will relate to each other in a way that men cannot, and vice versa. I'm talking about gender specific differences here based on life experiences. The rest are differences amongst people. And then there are men and women that just don't care to even think about these differences lol.

Yeah. So if you just want generally shared interests I think women have more overlap. However really, us guys are so easy when it comes to friendship.

There's a reason the "Hereeee's the one, the only, the legendary... Greg!" Seems a good wingman move to guys. That introduction alone guarantees Greg a spot in the friend group. Because we're that easy to befriend. And while he might not reach lay-down-your-life-for status from that alone, he's now fully in the group.

Women have well, harder trials.
