Why do Wikipedia moderators revert anything they don't like?

I have no doubt that Wikipedia moderators pick favorites and keep edits that they like and revert others that they don't like even if the latter contained sources directly referring to a car as a luxury car.

I added edits to the Ford Crown Victoria in the same way someone did with the Cadillac Seville regarding class segments, but the Seville case had no references to back the claim of being an E-segment or F-segment car.

For those in the know, E-segment means competing with Audi A6, BMW 5, and Mercedes E. F-segment means A8, 7, and S.

The sources I used; Auto. ru, referred to the Vic as both an E- and F-segment car depending on the year; CNN, referred to the Mercury Grand Marquis as a large luxury car from another reference.
