Sure, but the question becomes how to prove that it was false. Did they simply say it happened and the person got not guilty therefore it defaulted to that they lied and it is false?
The real problem anywhere is if a true rape victim comes out (something that in itself is rare) and says John Doe raped her, people will say it is a false accusation no matter what evidence is there.
If he gets not guilty and that auto means she made a fake allegation, no one is ever going to accuse anyone of rape ever... they'll all have a license to rape at will.
I certainly agree that women that make false allegations (proven to be intentionally false) should face very stiff repercussions.
However, in many of those same countries, it is nearly impossible for a woman to make such an accusation without a confession by the rapist or multiple male witnesses testifying.
I think it should be the death penalty even in the west, a man can't come back from being ruined by shit like that, his life and reputation are eternally ruined even when it's proven he was innocent and many guys just end up killing themselves over shit like that, so the false accusers should also die.
No.
If it is proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that she lied, then lock her up, ruin her life just like she tried to ruin the man's.
Death penalty gives her an easy out, let her suffer instead.

If they were 100% rapists yes. But so many falsely accused by psycho women. You can't just take word of some one else
As long as she was proven to have been lying on her own accord.
Should 5 men who DIDN'T commit a rape, and murder of someone, be executed?
Yes. Like Christine Ford.
