I remember getting a box of Valentines cards in graded school and having to give one to each classmate. It's pretty unsettling have to give a Valentine's card to another guy saying how much you like them! Almost as unsettling as GETTING a card from another guy saying how much he "loves" you! Fuck that!

Is it even a holiday? (According to Cambridge dictionary, "a day for celebration when many people are allowed to stay away from work or school"). As far as I'm aware Valentine's day isn't a bank holiday in any country of the world. in my opinion it's just a consumer spending event like Black Friday lol

I personally don't like any special day, but I wouldn't call anything stupid that makes some people even the little bit happy. It shouldn't be hard to learn that not everyone shares the same tastes as us.
