I was out for my daily walk in my neighborhood, and the mail man happened to be doing his rounds, and I was watching him and it got me thinking, with today's digital age, couldn't things like bills, payments, coupons, ads, subpoenas, just be sent out electronically? They could reach you within in a matter of seconds, rather then a matter of days. Of course this is assuming everyone in the country had access to a device and internet. If I'm not mistaken, Finland and Estonia have gone 100% digital, or if it's not 100%, it's pretty darn close.
I know physical items would need to be sent out physically. But something like bills could just be sent out digitally. It would also solve the problem of people who go abroad for several months, not being able to receive or pay their bills.
I'm not saying it will happened in our generation, but do you think a time will ever come where all paper mail, at least in developed countries will become digital?

While it's certainly true that the rise of digital communication has reduced the demand for physical mail, it's unlikely that postal services and mail delivery will become completely obsolete in the near future. Despite the prevalence of electronic mail, there are still many situations where physical mail is necessary, such as official documents, packages, and other types of physical correspondence. Moreover, there are still parts of the world where access to digital communication and the internet is limited or unreliable, which makes physical mail a critical means of communication.
That being said, it's possible that the role of postal services and mail delivery will continue to evolve as new technologies and communication methods emerge. For example, many postal services are already exploring the use of drones and other unmanned vehicles for mail delivery, which could make the process more efficient and cost-effective. Overall, while the demand for physical mail may decrease in the future, it's unlikely that mail delivery will become completely obsolete anytime soon.
Oui, oui. I mentioned that in my post
you mean mail "person".
there's always some need for mail, but it will be very expensive delivery.
Yeah, in person
I think we're still a few years from that
