It depends. Since Clinton the economy has done better under Democratic administrations. It seems quite unlikely that a Republican can win the popular vote. The Republicans have poked the bear with all the anti-abortion legislation and won't be able to walk that back. They lost in Wisconsin 55-45 in what was essentially a referendum on choice.
The economy is actually not that bad. Unemployment is low. Wages are up. We just have high inflation, which seems to have already peaked and we’re on the downside of no matter who is elected next. Presidents have very little control over free market economies. They can take certain regulatory actions that sometimes have subtle effects on it but that’s about it. The Federal Reserve has much more economic influence.
@slatyb It’s all connected. Inflation raises the cost of raw materials to produce goods and fuel to deliver them. If I’m not mistaken, Biden still has Trump’s tariffs in place as well. Tariffs raise prices.
No, stays more or less the same, as there are much more and more important factors to the economy. A new president/government may have an impact on the long term perspective, but usually it just changes who the companies sent money to, in order to get laws passed which only profit the rich.

Joe will inherit the systemic economic collapse, and the democratic party will never recover. Watch while the CBDC attempts to get started, but no one will accept that. Countries are dumping the US dollar for gold backed currencies more and too much effort is focused on Ukraine otherwise those countries would probably be invaded by now for dumping the dollar. Gadaffi tried to unify the whole of Africa with a gold backed dinar and we know how that ended.
No you give to much credit to the president. They can usually only make it go down not up.
Only if you vote dem
It all depends who is elected next
