But why care? There are no space aliens spying in invisible crafts. The math just doesn’t add up. Those alien creatures would have to outlive the 50,000 year duration to the closest galaxy.

Some people really like the idea that "the scientists don't know everything", whether it's UFOs or ESP or alternative medicine. Mostly they are people with no scientific education. It's pointless to argue with them, because to them scientific knowledge is just another opinion.

Of course they don't, but neither do they say they don't know anything. Newtonian physics is correct for almost all applications. Quantum mechanics, particularly quantum electrodynamics, is extremely accurate and has allowed the development of modern electronics, superconducting magnets, and other materials.
