Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I never found the excessive use of emojis or abbreviating your talk (fam, gang, squad, lit, woke), especially by adults anything but extremely cringeworthy, insencere, superficial and embarassing, like the ultimate attempt to conform to what you think is "cool" which only reveals how little substance there is to your own character. Maybe it's the connection with the whole tik tok culture (most braindead app to date). I don't know, maybe you want to go ahead and denounce me for it but this is my honest opinion, that's just me. But I'd want to bring back proper discourse and valuing some sagaciousness.
You’re not the only one. What I can’t stand most is how Gen Z carries whole conversation totally with memes and shit like “I feel seen.” I’m a writer, so I actually type out complete sentences with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation about 90% of the time. I think emojis and internet speak should be used in moderation.

👀👀👀🫣... I love my emojis. In a hypothetical date or romantic interest female scenario to me for a woman into me: If she don't like my emojis, I guess she ain't gonna be my friends with benefits or my girlfriend, so ah wells 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻🙃🙃🙃🥳
Emojis are much like tiktok for children and child molesters
