I mean. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it's a personal choice what someone wants to be called, even if it's a stupid choice. But on the otherhand, calling someone the wrong pronoun either by accident or deliberately, isn't the crime of the century and certainly not something one should lose their job over. But considering teachers normally address their students by their names, I'm not sure how this would even occur. I've never heard a teacher shout to a student, "Hey, HE!"

You just talk to them and they introduce themselves and thats that. Then build a relationship from there.

Imagine going to school and everyone calling you physics-girl that would be rude. No one has recordeds of medical records or undressed you. All you've done is proudly introduce yourself and no one can take that away from you same as anyone else.

A pronoun is not a pejorative.
It's the trans activists who are disrespectful, confrontational and belligerent.
It's up to trans people to conform to reality. No one has an obligation to affirm their delusions.

I had a trans student once and she (biological gender was female) simply asked me to call her by a different (unisex) name, which I did. Because this student was so quiet, I had no idea this student was trans until another student told me.
