How do we fight this antiquated stone age attitude about gender being binary?

There are MANY variations of gender, and some people have no gender at all. The bigotry on this issue is just appalling.

Time is on our side. Conservatism is just looking at 30 years ago with rose colored glasses. so 30 years from now it will be some other culture war issue. Same exact thing happened with gay people it became a non issue over time.

Zero reason to be complacent and we should fight for human rights for every one. Now more then ever with conservatives playing every card they got. We do need to be full strength when they run out of gas to create long-term laws.

We got Disney mocking ron in Florida gassing him out. We got mega republican donors jumping being gay himself wanting more focus on tax breaks and seeing the writing on the wall. On top of all that a fox news poll finds the trans hate is problematic close to 70%. These are close families after all. If not first hand have second or third hand as close a family having a trans relative.

A genocide on minorities is easier then a know family members to these people. I'm confident and excited how overtly and banking everything on genocidal and equally unprepared conservatives are on trans rights. Still no reason to be complacent but this will kill the GOP if we want it enough.

I guess that would be someone's decision on who or what they wanted to identify as. The only thing I don't understand is why anyone isn't happy with just two sexes. Men become women. Women become men, I get that. But then people don't identify at all. I don't get that. That's their choice, but I don't understand it.

If someone identifies as non-binary, is it because they hate being a person? Do they want to have more than one reproductive organ? I'm OK with what anyone decides. I just don't understand why they would want to be non-binary.

And when you ask, they get offended. Does the sky need a reason to be blue? No. But if you're going to make a decision not to identify as a person, at least have a reason, because you make no sense, lol.

That one guy on the new quantum leap is non-binary. I just remembered that, lol, but anyway, yeah, it would be nice if it made sense.

Why should straight people have to care about you people and all of your problems you have on a daily basis.
Believe it or not, we have our own lives and that is where our attention goes. We have our own fish to fry (everyday challenges).
People like you and your community need to settle your own issues. Don't lay your problems on us cause you are nothing like straight people.

did you know, in animals where we dont have human bias scientists CLASSIFY like fish male female etc so science is binary gender. people who ignore science like those claiming non binary are partly fascist for ignoring science like catholic punished galileo.

we should not "fight binary gender" it is science and similar to animals we can classify humans by "born with uterus or similar part".

i also believe in our generation of technology we need to preserve at birth blood test with y chromosome so if they claim i am female we are protected when we ignore them. y chromosome is technology not stone age and helps classify almost everyone binary. with y or without y.

The way I see it, humans are a sexually reproducing species, and there are basically two sexes, men and women.

However, within these two sexes, there is great variation. Some men and women are gay. Some men are very feminine, some women are very masculine.

I think it would benefit society if we were all more tolerant of these things.

For most cultures in most of history, gender has been a key part of society. Behaviors, rights and one's place in society were determined by gender.

Not saying that is "right" but it has a lot of history behind it.

The term gender is literally meaningless today. For centuries it was a synonym for sex, but it has been hijacked and turned into a comedy show. I recently read a list something like 100 genders and their descriptions, and it was hilarious. Most of them sounded like they came from someone who was either on drugs or mentally ill. You are mistaken if you ever think the same majority will take any of this seriously.
