No. And only a fool would think this modern day and age we're living in, is morally and culturally "superior" to the centuries or millennia of human progress we've made before now, that allowed us to get to this point. It's like a woke child thinking they're "better" than their parents that loved and cared for them their whole lives merely because the parents are white and upper middle class. This thinking reeks of the modern arrogance that I hate so much.
Now, I am not a hardcore traditionalist at all, but I do believe the best societies offer freedom of choice and an open exchange of ideas and beliefs. One of the reason modern 2020s society sucks so much, is do the erasure of those freedoms, mainly among the conservative minded and non-progressives. It used to be a liberal mindset to believe in free speech, freedom, and having an open exchange of ideas. Now, it's what liberals despise the most.
Societies flourish and expand due to freedom, especially capitalistic freedom. No one's saying you can't be a lesbian couple or think you're the opposite gender, or what have you. But when you want to start erasing other adults freedoms, or claim "being a stay-at-home mom is sexist!" and other crap like that, THEN we have a problem.
The people who claim "traditional gender roles are outdated" want to erase people's freedoms, instead of saying "traditional gender roles aren't for me." That is the difference, and why THEY are the problem, and not traditional gender roles itself.
TL;DR:
No, traditional gender roles are not outdated; some people are just idiots.
The way society has behaved in recent decades is kind of like how teenagers behave before they finally grow up and become responsible adults. They wanted to be nothing like their parents. They wanted to do everything differently because their parents "didn't know shit".
But as they grew up they made lots of mistakes and fucked up their lives in ways they didn't see coming. They lived and learned, they aged and grew and accumulated wisdom as they learned from their mistakes, and eventually they ended up being just like their parents because they ultimately came around to the realization that their parents had it right all along.
Modern society has been making sooooooooo many mistakes, and it is as fucked up as it is today because of them, because modern society rejected the hard earned wisdom that generation after generation figured out before them. Society today is in the "god damn it, I thought I knew everything but I ended up fucking up my life and now I need to figure out how to fix everything" phase and is just starting to come around to the realization that most people who were assholes as teenagers eventually do.
Not sure whether that answers your question.
I do not believe in forced gender roles but I think men and women are born with strengths and weaknesses that are often connected to the gender they were born into, like men make better presidents cause they have a higher tolerance for stress, they make better soldiers cause they are braver, women make better nurses cause they are more sympathetic and selfless, they make better school principals because they are better at following rules and organizing information and setting social standards.
Everything goes in cycles, and this is no exception to that. There's a George Carlin video on YouTube. He looks out into the audience, and a young guy has his baseball cap on sideways.
George: "Why is your cap sideways? Are you retarded?"
(George looks at another guy.)
George: "Earrings? Your fucking grandpa wears earrings" lol
Being woke is all about attention, and it will destroy itself.

I wouldn't say they are outdated because there are people who still genuinely seek them out. However, with the way feminism has spread and resonated with many women, they are being taught to behave and act like men, which is why you see so many pursuing high education, be career focused, fierce independence, being a "boss ass bitch", telling men they aren't shit and enjoying the casual sex life.
At the end of the day, no, they aren't outdated, but they are definitely not viewed in a positive light by women anymore and the world has pretty much made it non existent in terms of standard of living. Women view traditional relationships as slavery or will only accept it if their many is over a 6 figure earner because then he can provide for the family while she stays home. That tends to be one of the big arguments. If a man can't support a family on his income alone, he cannot have a traditional relationship is what they believe.
I don't believe in that which society traditional gender roles BS where man take out the trash or the man has to cut the grass or the woman belongs in the kitchen.
I believe what the Bible teaches what role the husband plays and the wife plays.
Primary 1st role for the man is to love his wife and to provide all that the household needs/protection and to lead the household into the ways of the lord and His glory.
Wife 1st primary role is to submit to her husband and manage the household and to raise and love the children into the ways of the lord and for His glory.
In some ways, yeah. A woman can't be a single mom by choice or can't just live her life alone. A man who has nail polish is considered a freak of some kind automatically, and women can't even not act like a woman if she wants due to the roles. So yeah, a tad outdated as things have changed and I don't think the old ways fit anymore.
Gender roles exist for very good reasons, so no, not at all.
Depends on what you mean, but in general no, men and women are different, it's nature.
As a description? No. As a proscription? Yes. Preface them with "usually", and the problems go away.
Joel said it all
WE NEED IT MORE THAN EVER.
Yeap. Cool if that's what they want, but it's not for everyone. Definitely isn't for me.
Yes. But we just haven't fully adapted to the changes yet. I expect this to be a problem for a couple more generations as we do. Unfortunately that means the gender war will continue for the foreseeable future.
Nope they are not as I love dominant men
No. They exist for a reason.
“Outdated” to some, and not for others.
They’re needed more than ever.
No, but that is becoming more common all the time.
Yes they are
