If you're assuming that they both enter the same job at the same time for the same pay rate, and work uninterrupted for the entire 5 years, then there would be no difference.
That is not normally the case, however.
Speaking from personal experience in management and the hiring process, men more frequently try to negotiate higher salaries during the interview process, and are usually more willing to take on extra hours, or go beyond expectations to set themselves up for the next promotion or a raise. There's a lot of great women in the workforce, but it's exceedingly rare that even the top performers go out of their way to stand out, and tend to do things more within the boundaries of what's expected.
In interviews, it was also generally the case that the men were more concerned about the pay, while it was more about convenience and benefits for women. Now unfortunately it was always beyond my power to manually balance those things to best fit the demands of a prospective employee, and even raises were iffy since those are normally an automatic annual thing, so starting salary and work schedule were the only things I had direct control over, and that typically favors the male breadwinner mindset if the goal is maximum takehome pay. I saw more than a few women leave a job or refuse an advancement requiring a transfer just because of it being further away or would require a schedule change, while that was a rare occurrence for men.
I think these days it's easier for females to make money, just showing their tits, ass or vag online can make them enough money to put them above most men in income. Takes no skill or talent at all and looks don't even matter, yet they can make more in a month than most make in a year.
I don’t think it’s easier to make money it’s just that men are more dedicated.
For example in many studies there have been outcomes such as from Harvard Business school “While women and men believe they are equally able to attain high-level leadership positions, men want that power more than women do.”. -https://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/men-want-powerful-jobs-more-than-women-do
A government study also points out that “Employed men work an average of 42 minutes per day more than their female counterparts, according to the 2015 American Time Use Study by the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. And while that’s partially due to more women working part-time jobs than men, even among full-time employees men worked 8.2 hours per day compared to women’s 7.8 hours”. -https://www.iwf.org/2016/06/28/government-study-shows-that-men-really-do-work-longer-and-harder-at-their-jobs-than-women/
I believe that sometimes determination is key but both genders have different goals which leads them to accomplish different things.

Well, the gender of the person probably is irrelevant.
Depends on the circumstances and the individual
There wouldn't be a winner if all things are equal
