That is straight communist propaganda talking there. It’s about the state being “the parent” and it’s heinous.
But I hope Biden keeps it up. When you start messing with people’s kids you are going to see backlash that people are willing to die for. It already caused a major upset in the Virginia gubernatorial election 2 years ago. Biden won Virgina by 13 points in 2020 and the Democratic incumbent governor was supposed to stay in office. Instead he made similar remarks that parents “shouldn’t have a say in the education system”. That bit him in the ass big time. The republican candidate Glenn Youngkin was major underdog and he ended up winning.
A person's child is their own child. It doesn't belong to the school, the community or the government.
Fuck these institutions that think they know what's best for you or your family. They are trying to social engineer children to be weak, compliant drones who are incurious and can't think for themselves. And they are now grooming children to be LGBT and non binary in order to produce weak males and infertile people.
Kinda yeah, it's more a way of saying we take care of everyone not just our own. I wouldn't walk away from a lost child screaming their head off because "not my kid not my problem". I'd help the kid.
Absolutely. That's what people did when I was growing up. It's what good people do. They look out for each other and help those in need.
When I was a kid, we ran all around the neighborhood and people kept an eye out to make sure we were safe.

So for example Biden believes that a parent shouldn’t be able to object that their K-3 child be “educated” in public schools about transsexuals.

Biden crushed Virginia in 2020 by 13 points. It was supposed to be a show in election for the incumbent governor McAuliffe. But instead he literally said “parents should have no say in public education”. Biden is echoing the exact same sentiment with “there is no such thing as someone else’s child”. He alluding to having the state be responsible for educating children not the parents. He just didn’t say it as bluntly and stupidly as McAuliffe did.

@RangerBlue22 Parents are stupid. They absolutely should not have a say on the education system. They evidently don't teach their children when the schools restrict what they teach, proven by areas that use abstinence programs and have no sex ed.
So it’s up to the education system to teach sex Ed? Well once upon a time when sex ed was taught to help prevent underage pregnancies and transmission of STDs there might of been an argument to be made.
But apparently “sex ed” has been drastically expanded to teach prepubescent children about gay sex ed and now “trans” sex ed which is heinous. I will say it again that the trans propaganda in public schools systems is HEINOUS when it’s being taught to minors or exponentially worse prepubescent children. It doesn’t “educate” it complicates and screws up.
Now if a legal adult wants to get into transitioning then the more power to them. That’s their choice. But not kids.

I’ve had liberals try to argue with me by providing links to the Guardian, the daily beast, salon, etc. I don’t trust those bs activist sources at all. I would like to add as I didn't before, children are not getting gender affirming surgery, that's just not a thing and is illegal. In very rare cases they have at 17, which is advised by their Drs and therapists because it was life saving care. Puberty blockers are not harmful and are completely reversible. But you would know all of this if you actually cared about this issue and spent even 5 minutes looking into this instead of believing every opinion piece you read online as facts.

Let’s just let children “affirm” their gender (although I do believe the phrase “gender affirmation” is Marxist euphemistic bs). Are these trans kids truly happy and fulfilled with their decisions? Depression, suicide rates, etc are extremely high among this category. Do you really believe it’s only because they are facing discrimination and bullying? If that was the case then they we would have seen high suicide rates well before this “gender affirmation care” was available.
I used jazz Jennings as a sad example of what the long term outcome can be like for these people. “She“ has gained 100lbs and is going through severe mental distress. “She” finds herself attracted to women which is no surprise because Jazz was born male. She has never experienced an orgasm with her fake vagina.
Is this “the cure” for young people having these issues? Shouldn’t we take extreme caution and explore the possibility they might have other issues going on before rushing them into gender transition?

There is decades worth of studies that show there is no long term side effects of puberty blockers as we have been using them for children with precious puberty.
There is also countless studies that show gender affirming care in adolescence reduces suicide rates amongst trans youth.
That first study you provided a sample of 104. Yes 104 trans kids. That’s a comparatively tiny sample to pull from to draw meaningful results and conclusions.
Also the study used the phrase “gender affirming” care. Both in the title and in the verbiage. They could have just said “youths who chose to take puberty blockers and elect gender transition surgery”. But instead the intentionally used the most up to date and woke terminology.

You know the late communist Soviet Union often used pseudo “state science” to back up their twisted claims that reflected well on the government. For example with Chernobyl disaster the Soviet Union claimed that the only 31 people died when the real final death toll was over 4000.
If you want my final take on the whole “trans” community (will they call it the “affirming” community sometime soon?) it is the following.
1. We live in a free country so I won’t force grown adults to make choices with their bodies. Giving them that freedom doesn’t mean I will agree other their decision though. But I won’t stop them.
2. Gender Dysphoria does exist but it is a MENTAL condition impacting less than.01% of the adult population. It’s extremely rare but I acknowledge it does exist.

3. The party of “science” seems to conveniently gloss over the fact that the XX and XY chromosomes exist
4. The human brain is not fully developed until it’s 25. There is a reason why we don’t let people under 18, under 21 and some minor cases under 25 (rental car companies) make risky decisions. Your brain is not fully developed yet. If you decide to have your breasts or penis removed is that “easily” reversed? Also I don’t believe and will never believe puberty blockers have no side effects. You are chemically shutting down a biologically natural process in all healthy human bodies.
5. There is major financial incentive for medical organizations to perform gender transition surgery (excuse me gender “affirmation” surgery). These doctors are mutilating genitals out of the kindness out of their own heart.
6. There has been an explosion of teen girls who identify as “trans” now. Exponential. Largest growing “trans” category. I even provided an article from the leftist Guardian about this.

Now as you know most teen girls experience challenges becoming a woman. Insecurities, surging hormones, etc. They are also highly susceptible to social contagion.
So a teen girl thinks she might be non-binary. She gets testosterone shots from a gender “affirmation” clinic. What goes testosterone do? It makes you more confident and aggressive. Easy to believe that’s the “cure”. But you know what else used exogenous testosterone? Steroids. It is well documented what negative side effects steroids can have on people and it’s even more dangerous for teens.
7. You now have “trans” women competing in woman’s sports. Coincidentally they are crushing the competition and setting records.
Is this what feminism fought for? Again let’s all pretend that these are “normal” women who somehow were athletic freaks.
8. Why is it whenever someone transitions we are supposed to “celebrate” with rainbow balloons and banners. If this is normal then why is always so “special”. I mean this couldn’t be for attention or validation or anything right? We could never be incentivizing people to make irreversible changes to their bodies so they can get intersectional social validation or anything?
But you know what at the end of the day you are “right” and modern. I must be just stupid, bigoted, transphobic and delusional.
I mean all new ideas are always good ideas right? There couldn’t be any unforeseen disasterous consequences for society if we all jump on board with this correct? I’m sure if anyone just says they are the opposite gender including prepubescent children we need to automatically take that as indisputable fact and encourage them to make irreversible changes to their bodies.
It could never be other issues like depression, social contagion, misdirected trauma or something else? Just embrace their word and never second guess they might regret their decision for the rest of their life.

Transgenderism has been around forever, it's not a new thing. It's just become more widely accepted hence why you are seeing more of it. When people don't feel comfortable with being themselves they either 1. Hide or 2. Kill themselves. Is that really what you want?

The things you are saying are happening are not on the scale you think they are.
Birthing person for example is not being used for individual people unless the person specifically wants that. Anyone saying it is is lying. It's the same as using "human" it's just an umbrella term.
Hormones are not given to anyone under the age of 16 and when they are given it's after many many many doctor and therapy sessions. Surgery is not given to anyone under 18 (except very rare circumstances) and again it's after many trips to see many different people.
I have a transgender friend who has been waiting 5 years for bottom surgery. It's literally not just I wanna get surgery and you're doing your consult the next day. They make you see a Dr, a therapist, a fertility clinic, another therapist, another Dr. Many consultations and then you WAIT.
The information you are looking at has no truth in it. It's just angry right wingers who cry when they don't understand something.

Well Jesus would say this is true. He wasn't exactly someone I thought to side with on any point but in this case I would agree with him.
If people weren't selfish and just overall dicks they would look after every child as if they are their own but here we are.
