I can't say I wouldn't enjoy being a bounty hunter, then a follow up question, do you think the worst criminals deserve humane treatment? I believe the law became weak when they started treating them like they deep down aren't animals.

No. There's a famous case of a British tabloid that printed the photos and names of 150 paedophiles. It caused several innocent lookalikes and people who shared names to be attacked. The truth is people are too stupid to be trusted not to kill the innocent by mistake

The problem is if an untrained person hunts a criminal, they might kill innocent people while hunting the guilty person or they might torture them instead of simply shooting them down.

No it should be like a licensed type of thing, like a more modern and civilized version, you can just kill them on site but just simple refusal or lacking to cooperate is enough to just bring em in dead, clearly the dead or alive would be for the worst criminals, the rest would be alive only.
