How would Democrats handle Republicans passing voter id laws if it included every registered voter receiving a free voter id card no strings attached?

When voter id is mentioned, Democrats are right there pointing out how it negatively effects minorities and poor people, but if voter id's were automatically given to all registered voters free of charge, what would the excuse be against them since everyone would get one free of charge no strings attached?

We will also insist on same day registration so if your 18th birthday is on election day you can vote. It's not viable to get a photo id made in one day. So what does voter od do that registration to vote dosen't cover? It's overly redundant for people to not vote.

Actually it is viable, some DMV's can issue temp license/id same day. If it is not viable for same day registration, not that complicated to allow voters who are same day registering to use their state ID.

Voting Registration is completely different from the DMV. They ask you if you want to there but that's out of convenience. You can register to vote from any computer and how do you show a program a photo?

So what justification to add steps to voting that registration dosen't already addresses?

This has already been proposed many times, and the Dems called it racist. The truth is that they don't want just registered voters voting, that's why they love open borders. Yes, open borers come with human trafficking, rape, drugs, terrorists and killers, but the Dems will overlook this if it means more votes for them.

Not all democrats think it's racist (most do, I personally don't). I have no problem with voter ID's if they are given out to every registered voter for free with not strings attached. Voter fraud happens on both sides, and a voter ID that's given out to every registered free of charge with no strings attached would be a step forward in reducing voter fraud.

They've offered them many times. They even offered mobile labs to come to your home if you needed it. All dems can say is that it's racist. Dems don't want honest elections.

In the state I live in the state ID card which can be used to vote is free. A drivers license is only free if you are an illegal alien. The rest of us pay 35 bucks
