A federal judge in Tennessee has ruled that a state law limiting public drag show performances represented an “unconstitutional restriction on the freedom of speech.”

“As a matter of text alone, the (Adult Entertainment Act) is a content, and viewpoint-based restriction on speech. The AEA was passed for the impermissible purpose of chilling constitutionally-protected speech,” US District Court Judge Thomas Parker, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, said in a 70-page late-Friday ruling.

Everyone keeps alleging "Psuychological harm" to kids if they see a drag show. I would like to hear some expert opinions about this, actually, rather than rely on the opinions of politicians.

The kids didn't ask for these drag shows. The parents didn't ask for these drag shows. There is a reason why school children are being introduced to this bizarre behavior. It's to start grooming them into the LGBTQ lifestyle as early as possible, while their minds are still developing. And it's working.

Why are schools doing this? Because they get paid if they do and they lose government funding if they don't.

Very, very few people suffer from genuine gender dysphoria. Those who do have neither the desire nor the political power to influence schools and government. But certain people with unimaginable wealth and power are trying to create a generation of weak males, limit human reproduction, and tear society apart. They have infiltrated academics, business, the entertainment industry, and captured the media and the Democratic party. It's a massive social engineering program.

They are paying flamboyant cross dressers to make transgenderism look like fun even though few of those cross dressers, if any, are transgender.

How is it that there is a growing epidemic of perfectly normal kids who suddenly question their gender when they hit puberty? Those questions are planted in their heads beginning years earlier. And the "experts" are right there to support them. A boy innocently asks "Do you think I might really be a girl" and the experts immediately insist that he's transgender. His parents are kept out of the loop or threatened if they disagree with the "experts". It's called "gender affirmation", not counseling. And puberty blockers are recommended. So the kids get sterilized for life with drugs and later mutilated under the false promise that they can change genders and that that will cure their insecurities and confusion.
Is that harmful?

If cross dressers just want to entertain people, why don't they go to retirement homes instead of kindergartens? No. This isn't about harmless fun.

But my original comment was about transsexuality. And I made a case for why it is extremely harmful.

I disagree that genuine gender dysphoria is the same as homosexuality What I do agree with is that kids who are gay are more easily manipulated into wanting to modify their bodies to look like the opposite sex. And kids are naive enough to believe that it's actually possible to turn into the opposite sex through mad science.

For example, a boy who is sexually attracted to men might think it's advantageous to look like a woman so that he will be more appealing to straight men.

I am not familiar with the statute that was challenged, for restrictions on the First Amendment must be very narrowly drawn to minimize the impact of freedom of expression. Ironically, the people who will cheer this decision want to impeach judges who strike down statutes restricting Second Amendment rights.

We have been at both "family-friendly" drag shows & "adult" drag show. While both are entertaining, the family orientated is PG at worse since that is what the performers are aiming for. The performers are not there to "promote" people into the lifestyle or business. They are there to entertain. But if people have questions, most performers are willing to answer after the show.

I am not a expert. I do listen to them though. For decades the children psychologists and psychiatrists have said that subjecting minors to those things as minors was child abuse. People have went to jail for doing that and showing that content to children. Children have grown up to adults who do horrible things and/or were severely traumatized by seeing those things as minors.
